Biden has been a dufus and lying Democrat for as long as I can remember (my wife knew him as an adolescent going to St. Helena’s elementary school in the suburbs of Wilmington). Whatever sense he ever had (and that’s questionable) has long since expired given his too many years in Washington, DC. Way to go, people of Delaware! Like the people of Massachusetts, and Michigan, and Vermont, you keep sending the same stupid liberals back to the Senate to do harm to America!

No, sorry I can't. I never found the place particularly enticing and so never did much more than drive through it.
He was the lone Congressman from Delaware before "switiching" places with Mike Castle as Governor in '92. He then went on to defeat Bill Roth in 2000, a defeat which lead to Roth's premature death, IMHO. He ran a very nasty campaign against a very good man.
I have known both Biden and Carper for over 20 years. I have far more respect for Joe Biden than Tom Carper and that is saying alot considering I have about no respect for Biden.

You can try the Holiday Inn Express. There may be more hotels in Rehoboth Beach, which isn’t too far from Bethany Beach, and the shopping outlets are in Rehoboth.

Every time Biden’s name comes up hubby looks at me and says — “It’s your fault”
Not because I ever voted for him (I never did) but because I made hubby apply the break not the gas pedal when Biden stepped out into the street on the Green in Dover in front of our vehicle.
As much as I can’t stand Biden, my position was I would rather be stuck with him in DC than have my husband in jail.
