Isn't she the one who wanted him to fight to keep his job?

She must have married Spitz for his money. Because it wasn't for his looks, and certainly not for his brain, or lack thereof.

Yes. Which raises the question: why didn't Eliot Spitzer fight to keep his job? He was a ruthless operator in politics. It was just about sex. Or was it?

More to the story. Add in troopergate, and this dirtbag needs to be doing hard time.

Unbelievable. If this story is true, Silda is just like Hillary. FURIOUS with her husband -— for getting caught.

Silda Spitzer may have known about Eliot’s hookers, but McGreevy’s wife had NO IDEA about the gay/straight threesomes she was having with her husband, and her husband’s young male driver. Let them all return to the oblivion they should never have emerged from.

Bill Clinton is, if nothing else a precedent setter. Prior to 1992, there was no way an acknowledged pot smoking draft dodger would have been elected president, but Slick managed to change all that.
Prior to 1998, there was no way a sitting president could get caught jamming cigars in an intern in the oval office and not be forced to resign. Slick managed to change all that.
Slick changed a lot in this country: none of it for the better.

After the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke, opponents of President Clinton must have expected an immediate resignation. Everybody knew the drill: You got caught, you resigned. And in this case in particular, there were so many sordid details, you wondered if the man would just text-in his resignation. Not Bill Clinton. Instead, the President apologized on television and immediately got back to business. What created this moral forcefield? The fact that his wife didn't care. How revisionist!!! Makes it sound like Bill said "yes, you caught me. Sorry. Maybe I'll go to rehab." Left out all the lies, DIRECT LIES to the nation, Hillary COMPLICIT in the cover-up (VRWC and all that). And what's that "immediately got back to business" crap?

Now we have an admitted doper (possible pusher), closeted Marxist, with racist sympathies running a “credible” campaign.

Yup. I personally believe that much of the moral decay in our country is due to Slick Willie, who made it “cool” to lie to the public, be a sexual predator, pardon criminals, etc.
Now we have all kinds of corporate malfeasance, kids beating the hell out of other kids (or a teacher) so they can put it on You Tube, teachers having sex with students, etc. We can even have an inexperienced, silver tounged socialist who for years attended a “church” ministered by a loon and a racist, run for President.
I believe most of our problems in the country are due to moral decay the the rise and acceptance of narcissism.

The public wasn’t hit with a cold wet fish in the face. They were leaked little bits of the “investigation”/scandal by the Clintonistas.
If it had come out day one (or after the first denial) that there was a dress, taped phone calls, bribes, and pressure to lie under oath for the boss, he’d be cooked.
It was a slow drip scandal. Often leaked on a Friday.

"Yup. I personally believe that much of the moral decay in our country is due to Slick Willie..." It's really a vicious circle...keep in mind that people voted for him as our nation's standard bearer....twice. People wanted the bar lowered, and elected just the guy to do it.
