Interesting in and of itself. But this line also caught my eye:
The message that Scotland is open for business came across clearly this week as Scotland dropped its business taxes to be even more internationally competitive.
Here, the libs are attempting to raise taxes even more on businesses, while other countries are lowering or eliminating corporate taxes to lure business to them. And we wonder why so many American companies are moving off shore.
How do we have so many economical morons in this country voting to put more economical morons into positions of power? Nevermind. I already know.

I don't know how to answer your question, because it's so telling. YOU ARE SO RIGHT. Americans just don't pay attention to anything else that the "product" now being sold as news.
We've GOT to stop listening to hype and pay attention. The short-sighted, self-centered existence of the typical American has GOT to stop!
Maybe ...some commericals like that Pepsi WAKE UP PEOPLE one, with short messages that make sense to any level of comprehension.

There are few more-cherished American ideals than independence. Unless of course we are talking about Tibet. The US doesn't think Tibet should be free and independent as they were before the Chinese decided to become their lord and master.

I agree with Sir Connery.
Scotland should become independent immediately. England will immediately become both a great deal richer and much more Conservative.

They are copying Ireland, whose economy exploded into one of the best in Europe after they drastically cut taxes on business. It's good to see that some can learn, even if socialists cannot.
