I don’t have anything to disqualify me but I do not like needles, so I never donate. A house across the street from my old one in OH just went for 145k which is actually pretty good for a house that size.

I’m still fighting a kidney infection, but that’s common with CFIDS. The onset symptoms are so like CFIDS symptoms in a relapse, that it’s often difficult to isolate the chills, fever and lethargy until the problem is well advanced.

I take olive leaf extract on a daily basis to keep it all under control, but if I forget (which is more often than I care to count) then I can pretty well figure I’ll have a real demon to deal with.

Other than that, I’m GREAT!!! :o])

I don’t like needles either but donated twice in recent years.

Ugh. Maybe you need a calendar near the “extract”, and check it off when you actually take the extract? (And keep a pen or pencil attached so you don’t have to go looking and forget...? Ugh. I am beginning to rely a little on tricks like this...)

In that case, I’ll say goodnight, and toddle off to dreamland.

I’ll be OK. I promise! I’ve been dealing with this for 17 years, and it won’t get better unless I help it!

Hugs to you and LoM!

When I worked in a building I gave blood every time they came out. One time there was the little old lady who was in charge of people once they were done giving. She was about five foot two eyes most likely blue. A building guard about six foot two 280 lbs had just got off the table and started to walk to the resting area with out her help. She went running across the room making sure he knew she had to wait for her to escort him to his chair or cot. He obeyed. They extended the auction deadline till Monday at 5:00pm. I have the current highest bid now, at $118,000 but looks like they will accept other bids till Monday for someone to beat it. They have bids on other lots for the same model up to $170,000.

Elen, Sally and I saw “Prince Caspian,” and we all loved it. I’ll post a full report when we’re at home, tomorrow or Sunday. DP and the three oldest saw “Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Perfect Medicare Supplement,” or whatever it was. They said it was fun. Anoreth said Shia LaBoeuf (sp?) was cute.

Right now, it’s time to hit the beach. It’s going to 80 and mostly sunny today, with more storms predicted tomorrow, when we’ll be driving home and won’t care.

Talked to my pet-sitter last night: one of the bettas died. Probably one of Anoreth’s, since she has 4.

Elen, Sally and I saw “Prince Caspian,” and we all loved it.

I took the whole family last weekend.

I didn't like that they deviated so much from Lewis' book; they introduced conflict between Peter and Caspian that never existed in the book, and while they followed Lewis' cue in portraying Peter's display of pride, they left out the appearance of Aslan where that gets dealt with. Even after Peter's plan to take Miraz' castle goes awry, his pride carries forward, unabated.

On balance, though, I thought the whole thing was very well done with great effects, fabulous costumes (All my kids want to dress like Narnian royalty), and mythic beasts come to life.

Also, thanks to the Narnia films, I've decided that for Christmas, I want a gryphon.

We already have a Assyrian gryphon named Molly. She hangs out in the tower library usually. She might enjoy having a Narnian Gryphon to hang out with.

I should have died at age 5.3.

At least I would have missed my bout with amoebic dysentery.
