Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A new report from a Planned Parenthood watchdog finds chapters of the Komen Race for the Cure breast cancer group gave affiliates of the national abortion business over $700,000 last fiscal year. The enormous amount should be a red flag to pro-life advocates, one leading activist says.
Figures from STOPP International show Komen chapters giving $711,485 from April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2006 to Planned Parenthood affiliates.
disgusting. i wont give that foundation a dime.
Doesn’t surprise me in the least. The connection between abortion and breast cancer later in life is the best kept secret in America. I stopped giving ANY assistance to any breast cancer advocates years ago for that reason alone. (And I have TWO girlfriends who survived breast cancer; neither of which has had an abortion.)
I used to do the find-raising walks, etc. What an uninformed ninny I was; which is exactly what groups like this count on.
Them and the March of Dimes. Sneaks.

This fraudulent charity gets no $ from me.
BTW, life news should have endorsed Duncan Hunter.
Yes, I read that on here a few years ago...sorry I can’t site anything specific! I remember reading about pro-life folks protesting the Walk America for this reason. Depressing to think that one of their methods of preventing birth defects is the support of aborting imperfect babies.

Sounds to me that this just solidifies the findings that abortion does lead to breast cancer in many cases.
“Race for the Kill.”
Horrendous!
I received a letter in the mail not long ago from a sorority that has their own private foundation which funds mammograms for needy females - not sure of name now but there are several. Try Internet? Might talk with a local radiologist for sources. I contribute to a local women’s shelter once a year and money is earmarked only for breast scans.
Thanks a lot for the info. I’ll look into it.
