Errrrr... Define WMDs. That's a generic term. It could mean biological, chemical, or nuclear. The article is meaningless without WMDs defined.

No information (either good or bad) from the authorities in the know is exactly how a war should be waged. Vitally true.
I'm always amazed at how many people think that the general public has the poop on everything going on - and also think that they should.

The article is meaningless without WMDs defined. "define" why?

I didn’t ask why, therefore no need to define it.

The Arab-Israeli region of the Middle East is filled with rumors of war. That is about as unusual as the rising of the sun, so normally it would not be worth mentioning. But like the proverbial broken clock that is right twice a day, such rumors occasionally will be true.
Pretty clumsy. I mean, the sun rises daily.

“Imagine what would happen to the Democrat party if Obama or Hillary is elected and all of a sudden one of Saddams WMDs makes its way to the US. They blamed Bush for invading on a false premise and now it was true.
The Democrat party would be dead.”
.....
That is far too much to hope for.
The media would never let it play out that way.
Stick to the “facts”, sir.
It would be Bush’s fault ... regardless of anything.

You don’t have to be a genius to realize that Bush’s total reluctance to discuss this matter at all is reason enough to conclude that all possibilites exist as to what really happened and why...suffice it to say that for a President to respond that way is “The matter is so important to our security that you don’t ever want to know anything about this, trust us, and a hundred years from now, you will still only be able to find out that we saved the world’s ass...so forget about it!!! You can’t read it any other way!

I hope you’re right but there’s been so much apparent reluctance to fight back/support own ideas - example, the option for putting some FICA money into private accounts. Never even got a serious debate.

My Enemys Enemy: The Story of the Largest Covert Operation in History the Arming of the Mujahideen by the CIA And it would not surprise me one bit with the 'oil' cartel headquarters having shifted that there is a whole lot of 'covert' operating going on these days. I remember some Russian advisers hightailing it out of Iraq on the road to Syria, in the very early days of this present battle. Now a whole lot of the Iraqi oil has already been paid for and I do expect those expenditures have been forgotten.

These are indeed MANY MANY things which are in progress as we speak which cannot be disclosed for security reasons.
Suffice it to say that WAR MAKES FOR STRANGE BEDFELLOWS l-) :-)

I have somewhat the same view of the Kosovo situation. I just don’t think the Bush administration is “that dumb.” So I’m watching for some clue as to what really is/was going on behind the scenes.
