I don't disagree that "international socialism" IS the problem, but doesn't have the face that people think it does. It isn't coming out of Russia like TGJ thinks it is.

Russia and China still have their aims, and either will wear the profitable mask of Capitalism (the elite always did better than the penny stinkers) as long as it suits them. That has never stopped them from inciting smaller nations and power wannabes to be a thorn in the side of their enemies, and they continue in that role, aiding and abetting lesser States and organizations to this day, all over the world.

The conflict is, ultimately, an idealogical one, and the former borders and national associations have become less relevant since Communists declared Communism "dead". Which works perfectly with their goals.

Their ultimate goal remains a global order. They have to bring down this country first to make that happen, and they are working hard at it.
