I hope Tim Eyeman (Washington State’s initiative king) gets ahold of this. Boy do we need it here

It started with our Prop 200 here in Arizona. Our mistake was not spelling out specifically which benefits were disallowed - and our milksop State AG gutted the bill with his ‘interpretation’ of what ‘public benefits’ meant.
Let’s hope Arkansas gets it right, and that more states get this on their ballots.

The measure by Secure Arkansas, a group chaired by Jeannie Burlsworth of Bryant, would make individuals sign an affidavit under the penalty of perjury that they are lawfully living in the United States. Not that I'm against this kind of idea, but illegal aliens live a lie every day they are in this country. What's one more lie to people like that?

Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has until April 9 to review the proposed ballot title. If approved, supporters of the measure could begin gathering the required 61,974 signatures needed to place it before voters in November.Being the Governor and the AG are big time RATs who floated into office with the illegal vote the odds of this measure getting approved is slightly less than zero. If it does get approved because of political expediency then the signatures will be counted and recounted and recounted until there are less than 61,874. The RATs can not afford to let the people vote on this because they need to buy those votes with the tax-payers money in order to stay in office. That's why all the official signs at the polls are in English and Spanish.

Uh, what does the ‘penalty of perjury’ mean to someone already living a lie? ;)
