The silencing of all GOP opposition to McCain’s liberal policies is almost complete.

I was going to ignore this thread..., but noooo, you had to do it. You had to do it!!! ;-)

Right now I’m thinking ahead to 2012. I’m thinking Ted Kennedy might not be so bad. I know we’ve ripped him for decades, but if we can get him to change his party affiliation, I just might do it rather than let a Demcorat be elected.

Nancy Pelosi has another fine mind. Like John McCain, she’s been ripped by Conservatives non-stop for quite some time. If only she would change her part affiliation, who knows.

Harry Ried, Barney Frank, Janet Reno, Gray Davis, come on down. You could be the proud winners of Conservative support. All you have to do is get an (R) after your name and promise that you are now a Conservative. Conservatism is changing. Those old worn out values don’t matter any longer.

Here’s a tip folks. No matter what you’ve done in the past, just promise that you’re going to be the best president, like ever. The brain trusts of Conservatism will herald your rebirth and back yer ass.

Now this may sound like a really uncomfortable thing to do but keep this in mind. It won’t matter if you voted for Ginsberg, Kennedy or Souter. It won’t matter if you did things like advocate the issue of MIAs be put to rest, or advocate on the behalf of illegal allien crimmigrants. It won’t matter if you advocate Europe get sign off on our policies. It won’t even matter if you support Al Gore’s global warming. See, this is going to be less painful than you thought. Give it some thought.

BTW, all you Democrats out there that I’ve been railing against for the last four decades, I’m sorry. I should have been voting for you. Just about every leader of my party today says so.

All you Clinton supporters out there that voted for Bill no matter what because of the letter after his name, I’ll have to beg your forgiveness too. Voting for people today because of the letter after their name is in vogue.

God have I ever been a fool for the last 40 years. I could have been supporting your policies for all that time and still be a Conservative in good standing.

James Carville, what are you doing in 2012? Give me a call bud. I’m in the (R) area code.

It's a sad day in the mornin when good, right thinking people hafta kiss the ring of a small prig like John McCain!!!

The Republican Party at all levels, should certainly not be the least bit proud of it's candidate production this cycle!!!

Conservatives have every reason to feel radicalized and enraged over this pukification of our candidates. There is NO valid excuse for this!!!

The silencing of all GOP opposition to McCain’s liberal policies is almost complete.

All hope of influencing the Republican Party from within is gone.

It's going to take an outside conservative force to take this country back.

A sidenote: I refuse to use the honorific "GOP" any more. The Republican Party may be "Old," but it is no longer in any way "Grand."

One more thing: Tom Tancredo can kiss my backside. His endorsement of Romney, and now McCain, destroys any credibility he had left. It ain't where you start out that matters, it's where you end up. And he's now firmly in the liberal camp, no matter how much he claims reluctance. For all practical purposes, he's now a supporter of amnesty, Juan Hernandez and "The Race."

This is a bit of a shock. I would have expected Tom to hang in like a bulldog. McCain actions and statements are the very antithesis of everything Tom believes in—this is incredible. One has to wonder if Tom was threatened in some way.
