SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco is launching a new campaign tonight to tell illegal immigrants they're welcome in the city.

San Francisco is a so-called sanctuary city. What that means exactly-- and how officials are getting the word out.

The city's message will appear on TV, radio, posters and brochures in five languages.

The extensive outreach campaign will be directed at undocumented workers and their families in San Francisco.

"We're going to spend resources, time and energy to do PSA's, to do campaign outreach into community clinics, into public schools, into our police stations to let people know what a sanctuary city is all about," said San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom.

Surprised I hadn't found this posted yet. I heard John and Ken talking about it today on KFI. They want to round up all the illegals in southern Cal and send them up to SF.

Since they are Liberal loons, look for a "Housing Assistance Program" to be proposed soon that will tax business to pay for it.

I don’t know why they are stopping there. Since, they’re welcoming lawbreakers, I say let them have ALL the lawbreakers. Why should they get to pick and choose which lawbreakers they want. All murderers, thieves, etc. should get to go take advantage of the sanctuary they’re offering.

Less than a week ago, Newsome announced cutbacks in homeless shelters and layoffs of many, many city employees. Now he is inviting the illegals, who CANNOT legally WORK and support themselves, increasing the “Homeless” burden. I see blood in the streets between the homeless veterans and the illegals.
Isn’t there someone in the Federal government who will stand up and freeze all Federal money to SF until Newsome backs down????

We we're listening J&K too. The government up there is obviously run by people that took way to much Orange Sunshine a few decades back. These people are hardened fruitcakes.

What would be nice is to sweeten the deal somehow, and get out the message to about 2 million illegal aliens...Make some promises about free food, free housing, free land, alcohol...Stuff like that. Really get the word out.

I don't know. Probably peeing in the street since they love the homeless. I'm sure they don't enforce voting laws. They want to give licenses to illegals.

I believe they recently passed an ordinance or something that requires all employers to pay for health insurance for their employees. I believe within the city limits they also charge you at the grocery store for the plastic grocery bags.

They do more than pee in the streets. One morning we came out of our hotel and turned right. There was a pile of human feces in the middle of the sidewalk.

We need to neutron bomb SF and start all over. Right after Lot and his wife and kids get out.
