March 31, 2008 Group Tied to Pakistani Terrorist to Parade in Binghamton, NY

Instead of those plastic toy swords sold at normal parades, they will be selling replicas of the one used by Mohammed to behead infidels....

The city of Binghamton, New York granted a group with ties to Islamic terrorist Sheikh Mubarek Ali Gilani a permit to publicly celebrate Milad-un-Nabi, or Muhammed’s birthday, in the streets of Binghamton this Saturday. The Muslims of the Americas (MOA), the name used by Jamaat ul Fuqra, or “Community of the Impoverished,” was issued a permit for a public celebration that includes a parade that will run through the downtown area and close one lane of the city’s main street. Previous celebrations by MOA members have been held at their 35 acre compound in Hancock, NY.

Sheikh Mubarek Gilani, the group’s leader, is regarded as an international terrorist. At a terrorist summit held in Khartoum in December 1993, Gilani and other terrorist leaders, such as Osama bin Laden, were caught on

Next step is to allow Muslims to parade with real loaded weapons as they do in Palestine and other Muslim countries. I never thought that the “Home of the Brave” would surrender this fast to the enemy.

In the meantime, the real brave men and women are expected to continue the fight. For what?

Gee, wish I lived closer. Would love to show up in my brandy-new T-shirt I ordered last month. (Below).

Can't wait until it warms up (usually July, here in Vermont) so I can wear it proudly and drive the liberal moonbats (which is about 90% of the population around here) up a wall.

infidel 4

The only drawback to wearing this is that it does not have the translation in Arabic.

Before long we’ll have hordes of goose-stepping, AK-wielding, black hooded hezbollah-Nazi wanna-be’s parading in NY.

I hope New Yorkers show some spine, line the streets, and hit them with all the rotten produce they can carry.

First Amendment freedom of expression applies to *all* groups, even very unpopular ones. In fact, unpopular speech is the most important thing to protect, as it is the first attacked. Free speech protections must not be eroded just because assh*les take advantage of that inalienable right. The correct response here is to use your free speech to counterprotest.

Exactly we do not want to end up like Finland where anti Immigration speech is illegal and strictly enforced.

I agree with the premise/concept of free speech, but I think we disagree that preventing a parade does not infringe upon that right. They still can "speak" on the street, in the papers, the internet, and to anyone who chooses to listen. Receiving permission from your neighbors to block public streets to speak your mind is not a constitutional right, as has been demonstrated by fringe protest groups getting permission to "join" parades they have nothing to do with (i.e.: gays in St. Patrick's Day parades, Indians in Columbus Day parades). However, I doubt permission would be granted to any counter groups to participate in this parade.

Just my two-cents.

Binghamton has been a libtard stronghold for years. What we need is a JDAM on their Religion of Pieces compound in Hancock.

The Mayor of Binghamton, Matt Ryan is a whack-o. His right hand man is Tariq Abdelezim who is even more so. I plan to be at the Lake, but will watch our media carefully, if they cover this at all. The take a break for the most part on the weekend.

...or like Britain where priests preaching against sexual perversion are prosecuted and fined for hate crimes, or Canada where anyone who makes an “offensive” racial comment online is hunted down by the Human Rights Commission and fined, or the United States of America where the wild, unfounded accusations of one Congressman get Marines persecuted by their own superiors....we need not look so far as Finland for totalitarian idealogical repression and persecution of citizens by their government.

Damn!!! How low has my hometown sunk? I sure glad I left in ‘69, and have only been back to visit about 3 or 4 times in the last 40 years.
