(IsraelNN.com) Dr. Wafa Sultan has been forced to go into hiding with her family following a fatwa (religious edict) from an Islamic scholar, according to Omedia. Sultan faces the fatwa following a recent debate on Al-Jazeera in which she challenged Egyptian Islamist Talat Rheim over Dutch cartoons of Mohammed, who Muslims revere as a prophet. Sultan argued that Denmark had the right to print the cartoons.
Sultan joins a growing list of public critics of radical Islam facing death threats. Her supporters have asked the American public to join them in writing to the embassy of Qatar, the country which sponsors Al-Jazeera, as well as to United States President George Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, asking them to defend Sultans right to free speech and personal safety
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
I’m sure the head of the UN and its human rights commission will be issuing an official condemnation........any minute now.............
There should be fatwas against Islamofascist jihadis who issue fatwas. That might reduce their issuance.

Indeed
Thefre is no free speech in Islam, what a joke.
I’m glad to see that she has sense enough to hide from the religion of nutbars and terrorists. Wafa Sultan is too intelligent, valuable and influential to allow to be in danger from these cult freaks who worship Satanism in all it’s various forms.
(sarc/on) I’m amazed at the amount of coverage this is getting in the MSM. It’s everywhere. (sarc/off)
The Religion of Pieces once again shows its true colors. In every instance of challenge, their response is the same: kill the offender.
Islam continues its 1400 year war against civilization.
