Today John McCain campaign released a very powerful and emotional ad that portrays a man who made the ultimate sacrifice to serve this greatest nation in history of mankind. I do not know how anyone cannot consider that this great man will be great commander in Chief when they see the footage of him in captivity and being interrogated by his Vietnamese captures. This is the man that we need to continue and win this great war against the Islamic terrorist enemy.

When he was at the lowest point of his campaign last summer and everyone wrote him out, they asked him if his low poll numbers are due to his support of the war, McCain replied “I would rather lose an election than lose the war”. Now compare this great Patriot to socialists and defeatists like Obama or Hillary Clinton who fabricated one of the most outrageous lies claiming that she came under snipers fire in Bosnia.

When I first opened this thread I thought it would be humor. Instead it was posted by someone who really believes in Senator McCain.
Well, I lashed out in a very inappropriate way thinking only of myself and that is not a true freeper response. My reply should have gone along these lines...
I believe in the very near future we may see Senator McCain as our president. I fear that he will do all he can to make nice with the enemy of all who hate our constitution.
I wish now to humbly apologize to jveritas for my hateful comments and ask to be forgiven.

I will just say to you all that we left a new kid on his first night out. I say we because it was a company size operation. He wasn’t in my platoon, but with second platoon just about fifty meters away from us. When second platoon moved we stayed in place.
