Thank you for you answer. Sometimes it’s hard to know what’s true and what’s not. It didn’t make sense to me but who knows.
Name on thing the democrats achieve in the last 1 year and few months of controlling Congress. Nothing, they achieved nothing.
Im not a Christian so Id be greatly interested to know where in the bible it commands christians to pray for elected officials. Did they even have elected officials when the bible was written?

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all Godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 1 Timothy 2:1-3
Guess lot of RINOS are buying oceanfront property in South Dakota and a bridge in Brooklyn and support the gringo Juan”nasty”McPain Let the jerk lose and wait for 2012 and get a decent candidate.
Operations Chaos is designed to defeat McCain by having him face Hillary Clinton who is the stronger general election candidate.
I can think of many examples where prayer is requested on behalf of an elected official, but I can't think of an instance where it is for someone simply because they are and elected official. There's always some other qualifier or reason associated with the request.
I misspoke!
Sorry, I used a poor choice of words, but you get the message in 1 Tim. 1-7
So it pretty much says to pray for everybody. My second question would be who is saying this. Is this a commandmant from God or from a disciple?
If I am a Citizen before elections day then YES.
“The Bible commands Christians to pray for our elected official, no matter who they might be.”
You are correct. “May the Lord bless and keep John McCain..very far away from the presidency.
A man who said I will rather lose an elections than lose the war is what we need to be President in times of war.
1 Timothy 2:
1: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2: For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4: Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Ok. Sorry people are raging on you about this.
No....God wants us to pray for ALL of man, even the wicked so that they may find their way (maybe he was thinking elected officials), lol.
"1 Tim. 1-7"
St. Paul was a hoot, wasn't he?
Romans 13:1-7
*Hehee...*
You are probably correct, although I think we are all going to need to do some extra hard praying with the three choices that we have. :)
Now! That is a true statement!
