When only 19% of responding Freepers can stand McCain's speech on his strongest suite, he is in serious trouble. What can he do?

If the dems had anything but two out and out Republic hating communist running, the Republican party would be inserious trouble this year. But, with McCain clearly the lesser of the three evils, he may just win.
I would predict a very low voter turnout this coming Novemeber. I for one cannot hold my nose long enough to pull the lever for any of them.

You’re functing under the exceedingly mistaken impression that FR is anything more than a small subfaction of one portion of the Republican Party.

McShamesty isn’t in trouble. The US is in trouble.

Remind us that he isn’t Hillary or Obama.
That’s all he really needs to do...

McCain "may" just win? I'm predicting a landslide. The Dems have pretty much given it to him this year.
The real question about McCain is, is he too dumb not to lose?

Freepers did not get him nominated.

Turnout is going to be the key.
A lot of conservatives are going to have a hard time even getting out of bed on election day because of the choice set before them.
The Democrats on the other hand have shown themselves to be highly motivated this year.
The whole point behind operation Chaos is to try and fracture the Democratic Party so that their turnout is as bad if not worse than ours.
While Hillary seems to be the more qualified, and surprisingly least extreme of the two Democrats, she also is the more hated of the two.
It will likely be possible to pull more swing voters away from Obama, but Hillary will likely help Republican turnout.
It's hard to tell which is the more beatable of the two, especially since Obama is more charismatic than Hillary or McCain, and it's hard to gauge how many voters will ignore the issues and vote for the candidate that is most likable.
It's also hard to tell how much racism will play a role.

In the first place, you misspelled the word "trouble" in your title.
In the second place, if your screen name is derived from "deuteronomy" you misspelled it too. Looks like you fat-fingered the last "o" and hit the "l" key instead.
In the third place, I don't think McCain is necessarily "in trouble", although most around here don't strongly support him.
Oh yeah, one last thing... welcome to FR.
