Update: Despite efforts from Fox News to facilitate this dying girl's wish to have her father at her bedise when she passes, the imovable, cold-hearted, beauraucratic, red tape of the Jucidiary, Bureau Of Prisons and U.S. Attorney are intransigent in their unwillingness to bend the "rules" to allow this to happen.

I’m not talking about morality. I’m talking about compassion for that child. SHE is the center of all this commotion.

Sadly, the young one has passed. She is out of pain and was able to spend a little time with her dad beforehand

Ah, the father has made several visits to her bedside.....he is a convict and has a price to pay. He has unlimited phone calls, I don’t think he should be released for a “time out”. He was a meth dealer, he destroyed many lives with that.

No, the issue is he wanted another visit. He has had those, and now a 4th. The child has been in a coma for the last few weeks.....and determining what she wanted is near impossible. The father used the system to garner sympathy.
Sorry you fell for that.
Now the child is gone, and what kind of precedent does that set for the courts?

I believe the child knew he was there, even in a coma. Her spirit wasn’t in a coma, only her body. If this could give her spirit peace, so be it.

Very sad case. I’m glad he was able to visit with her before she died.

Retribution?? What did this man ever do to me? Paint your argument however you want. (shrug) This is about fairness and justice under the law and the way I see it, the little girl (who has passed) got her dying wish and the father was given opportunities that many others would and will not get.
Aside from the tragedy of this child's illness and death, this family was lucky to have had this chance.
Apparently, some always want more.
