The Louisiana Republican party is probably one of the worst state Republican parties I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how Bobby Jindahl made it, because it wasn’t any thanks to them. They allowed a joke like Aaron Broussard to get reelected by not running any serious candidates against him. And the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s election was another travesty. The guy that won won with 90% of the vote. The Republican running against him hardly put out any signs or did any serious advertising. He probably would have lost anyway, because the winner was the hand-picked successor of the deceased sheriff he was replacing, but to win by 90%? That’s a joke!
You know, this is about the only Senate seat the GOP has of picking up this fall and shooting ourselves in the foot like this isn’t helping.
I can’t believe this! But Louisiana is trending red and I really trust that she’ll lose.
She must have promised TONS of money for their PET PROJECTS!
Anybody who is in leadership in the GOP and endorses the democrat should be forced to resign, because the whole point of the party is to support the party nominees, not the opposition.
