Whatever else McCain may have done he has certainly demonstrated his patriotism by giving years of his life in service and in suffering terribly for this country. Heaven knows there is plenty that he and I do not agree on. But I greatly admire his courage and I do not question his dedication to the United States of America.

I cannot say anything even remotely the same for Obama or Clinton.

Would a patriot obsess propose amnesty for illegal aliens, oppose a fence, and vote against barring terrorists from this country? I do not think so.

Yes, McCain served in the military. So did McVeigh and bravely. I have heard that the only planes McCain damaged were ours.

I agree physical appearance should not be a criteria. I recall many here who made fun of Kerry's teeth and tan and other features. I never noticed McCain's teeth. His lumpy face and short arms have received more comments. He does look much older than his age and creepy.
