“Looking ahead to the General Election in November, John McCain continues to lead both potential Democratic opponents. McCain leads Barack Obama 51% to 41% and Hillary Clinton 50% to 43%”

*shhhhhh.......*

The polls are good news, but I’m old enough never to take anything for granted, and we mustn’t tell everyone.....

Two points:

#1...If Hillary and Obama are too far behind McCain, the DNC will punt them both and run Al Gore.

#2...McCain is only spending a *fraction* of what Hillary and Obama are spending right now, yet he’s rocketing ahead of them both.

I know this is off topic, but.....

Obama never stated that he didn’t hear Wright say those things in PRIVATE.

In fact he was very narrow in he had not heard them said, in church.

Oh, if that were only true. Then Gore could be held accountable for “The Inconvenient Truth”.

“the DNC will punt them both and run Al Gore.”

I would take Gore over any of them... He’s stupid but not evil or crazy like McCain

Exactly. But I believe he heard plenty in church too because Black Liberation Theology is what is preached there. They are open about that fact.

Here's what that is all about and it explains Wright's disgusting rhetoric, and Michelle Obama's statements, as well as Obama actions once you understand that core belief ideology:

THE TRUTH ABOUT BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY AND THE TRINITY CHURCH

This will depend on the Hurricane season... Liberals praying for a CAT V to hit so they can blame it on Global Warming and get Al Gore back in the news... Having one of the longest and coldest recorded winters on record didn’t really help the Global Warming movement... LOL>.

Gore is crazy

Crazy like a fox.

He's making millions selling carbon credits through his global climate change scam.

Problem is what does that translate into electoral votes? There is a good site - www.270towin.com which translate state poll numbers into EV projections. The contests are evenly matched in terms of electoral colleges. Hillary actually does worst than Obama against McCain.

Gore is crazy.

Cereally.

Best guess for his immense weight gain is psychiatric drugs. And dollars to donuts say he wouldn't release his medical records -- like most every Democrat candidate in recent memory.

Hillary says she is sorry, it was a mistake. She didn’t mean it, she was joking.

Please....

except not by McCain, who would call him “My friend.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m voting for him, but NOTHING any of these people can, have, or will do is going to cause McCain to “get nasty.”

Twelve states with 149 Electoral Votes are either a pure Toss-Up or just slightly leaning to one party or the other. These are likely to be the early battleground states of Election 2008: Florida (27), Pennsylvania (21), Ohio (20), Michigan, (17), Virginia (13), Missouri (11), Minnesota (10), Colorado (9), Iowa (7), Nevada (5), New Mexico (5), and New Hampshire (4).

This lines up with key Senate races -

We need to help these Senator races: Sununu in NH, Shaffer in Colorado, whoever wins in New Mexico, Gilmore(?) in New Mexico, Coleman in Minnesota.
