BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraq's prime minister Wednesday gave Shiite militants battling security forces in Basra a 72-hour deadline to surrender as the death toll from two days of fighting that threatens to undo efforts to stabilize Iraq neared 50.

Wasn't it just three years ago when the Mahdi militia took massive casualties when they chose to go toe-to-toe with American units on the ground?

Wasn't it just three years ago when the Mahdi militia took massive casualties when they chose to go toe-to-toe with(*politically correct)
American units on the ground? And now they shall go toe to toe with politically incorrect forces. Should be interesting and perhaps, if they can ditch their politically correct advisers, deadly and final.
