Georgia Ave & Elder St | 25 March 2008 | Jimmy Valentine's brother - Photos by "MrsT"

21 March 2008, Elder Street and Georgia Avenue, Washington, DC

Well FREEPERs it happened, Bruce Wolf, chair of O.P.E.I.U. Local 2's "Social Justice Committee" managed to round up a group of Spring Equinox celebrants and out numbered the DC Chapter and FRiends.

Photobucket

But enough of the bad news.
From Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by way of Dallas, Texas we were joined by Scan 59 seen here with VictoryNY

Photobucket

And his wife, BABY FREEP their lovely lurker daughter Kari

Photobucket

Their son is a machinist mate serving on the Carrier USNS George Washington which is soon to deploy. Scan indicated that their son had given his family the dollar tour of shaft alley.

Also new to the Elder and Georgia activities was USAalltheway shown with Ron G. Kirby and Trooprally ( Mr T), all three veterans of the DC Recruiting Station defense action that was conducted on March 19. Collateral damage is visible on Ron’s Tee-shirt and the sign.

Photobucket

USAallthe way is a Junior at Walter Johnson High School in the Montgomery County Peoples Republic of Maryland. He met RonG on March 19th while conducting independent civics study at McPherson Square which was Moonbat Central’s staging area on the 19th in DC.

Kburi seen with Kristinn

and Lurker Ethel

Photobucket

Dragooned their former FRiends Mary Devon O’Brien, a Jersey County Republican Chairman and her driver aka husband, Chris Smith

Photobucket

I had the good fortune to hug the young lady seen talking to Kburi and Kristinn. She’s back to get her disability evaluation. Her plans are to go to college and continue rehab and in five years apply for reinstatement and OCS. She was part of the maintenance organization but got IED’d during a convoy. I told her she had a solid plan and reminded her that the CG of 7th Corps during Desert Storm had lost his leg in Nam.

Photobucket

Kristinn held a seminar late in the evening in an attempt to educate some lost lambs. Kristinn reported that it was a civil discussion and that the two young ladies apparently had not had their ears stopped with wax.

Other stalwarts holding the line on Good Friday were;

And the Hunter of all thing Red – Tom the Red Hunter.
I guess our fabulous photog, “Mrs T”, ran out of disk space. There are Additional Images Here including the loction of the next assembly of moonbats

Who is the dummy “GEEZE LOUISE”. Good thing she didn't write this great AAR.

JVB - Thanks for the timely thread. Now I need to do the same with the Olney Thread.

Thanks for taking time out of your vacation to stand with the DC Chapter and pay respects to our troops. Sorry I couldn’t be there to meet you.

Hey all! We had our 6th comedy night at WR last night. I will post it soon. Over loaded with work right now.

Many of the soldiers were talking about the gathering at the main gate and plan on attending.

Sorry I missed it. I was in Ohio enjoying a nearly-nonexistent weekend away from DC and regrowing my soul from the squashing it gets around here. I’ll be back on the corner this week, though. :D

Blessings to all that came and those in spirit!
