Just consider the gunshot wound as part of the punishment for being stupid.

One of my favorite jokes involves an exasperated junior employee of Verizon repeatedly saying “Yes.” for eight hours

Do you think this guy got an education at all? He should be at the top of the show: “The World’s Dumbest Criminals”.

It’s obvious that the officer shot him in the leg because shooting him in the head wouldn’t have caused any damage.
To: Puppage
More like, “Can I shoot you now?”

Well, if the officer would’ve shot him in the ass, it would have wiped out any brains the guy did have.

Why didn't they just shoot him in the chest?
He is probably going to sue now.

Welcome to Goodyear National Bank - robberies by appointment only...

Reminds me of a North Hollywood case a couple of decades ago. A service station attendant decided to stage his own holdup and pocket the contents of the till. When the cops arrived he told them he’d been held-up. They asked to look at the video so they could get a suspect description. The guy said, ‘they were too smart for you, they covered up the camera before they held me up’. Sure enough, the camera had a jacket draped over it. The cop thought for a moment, then said, ‘okay, so the video will have a photo of the guy putting the jacket over the camera’. He later said he could see the color draining out of the attendant’s face as he said it.

Man, you try to be nice to people and let them call you when it's convenient to be robbed and this is what you get. They
fibbed! Actually, I'd love to have been listening into the cop's inner thoughts at the stakeout. As in, "I can't believe it. No way, nobody's that stupid. They called him? He's coming? He's actually coming?? He's HERE?!??"

Why didn’t the thief just give the shop employees his bank or paypal account number and have them deposit the loot once he was gone?
