With Party nominees like McCain, who needs Democrats?
To: Yosemitest
When there is a Rush gas bag Limbaugh out there the democrats don’t need to attack McCain.

McCain Almost Left the GOP -- Twice
Is this supposed to make anyone want to vote Obama and his mad-dog preacher into the Oval Office? Granted, McCain is a flawed choice for conservatives, but the choice between him and Clinton/Obama is obvious and clear.
Rush and other Republicans can either get behind McCain or spend the next umpteen years waiting for their perfect conservative messiah while Obama turns victory into defeat in Iraq and crazed followers like the Rev. Wright enjoy the support of the presidency and both houses of Congress.
To: mimaw
Rush can only point out problems with Democrats and liberals, now? I guess it’s Rush’s fault McCain is McCain.
Did you ever think that it helps our side to deal with criticisms NOW (if possible) and come up with a response for them before the democrats hit us with them?

Rush loudly attacks McCain for some of the same things he excuses the president for,Amnesty and McCain/Feingold in particular.

McCain isn’t a conservative nor a Republican; skipping that line on the ballot.

We wound up with McCain because the primary schedule is designed to minimize the influence of the GOP’s core voters, in a perverted attempt to produce a candidate with broad appeal in the general election.
I’m still in shock that the party rejected three solid conservatives - Tancredo, Hunter, and Paul - in favor of a Democrat.
To: TBP
I, too, wish McCain would have switched parties, and been honest about his affiliations.
But, he chose to continue to his deception as a RINO.
