I am not interested in power for power's sake, but I'm interested in power that is moral, that is right and that is good.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
I am running for U.S. Congress in 2008. I believe that our United States government is facing a moral crisis. As a country we are in danger of forsaking the moral cornerstone upon which our nation was founded. No longer do many of our leaders make decisions based on constitutional imperatives, time-honored values, or Christian principles. Foundational phrases like One Nation under GodandIn God We Trust, which symbolize the genesis of our nation, are daily being assaulted by individuals and organizations with seemingly socialist agendas. Activist judges are virtually making laws from their benches, thereby usurping the powers of our U.S. Congress. Members of Congress are challenging the constitutional powers of the executive branch. The executive branch through utilizing executive orders is making judicial decrees. Where established order is not upheld, there is chaos. The current political chaos does not serve the citizens of our country well.
Because of your support, I have raised over a million dollars to that will enable me to compete with Scotts campaign war chest and powerful political machine, but my message of healing and health care reform is resonating among the districts discontented voters who argue Scott, an entrenched distinguished former Georgia State Senator, has fumbled the pill and failed to produce for his constituents.
IT IS TIME FOR A RETURN TO PRINCIPLE CENTERED LEADERSHIP OF STATESMEN AND AWAY FROM SELFISH AMBITION OF POLITICIANS!
I hope some of us can work for her--pray for her, give to her campaign, and most importantly--for those in her district--WORK for her! Let's get a true conservative to represent Georgia's 13th district.
God bless you, Deborah!
YOU GO GIRL!
Kick arse and take names, Dr. Honeycutt.
I like what this women has to say.....prayers for her success.....
Prayers up for Deborah. She sounds like someone we NEED in Government.
“with seemingly socialist agendas.”
Seemingly?
Any pics?
“YOU GO GIRL!”
I second that!

I read her web site — Dr. Honeycutt is an inspiration! Here’s to her success!
She should also add a position on AGW to her “Issues” page. I’m presuming she is an ardent opponent of economy-killing CO2 controls.
We also have a strong conservative black woman running against our incumbent black muslim moron Keith Ellison in the MN 3rd.
I do hope this a growing trend - and I hope they kick the vaccilating, weak-kneed RINO’s where it hurts but good.
This is my district.I knew nothing about her.She will get my vote!
I wish I had such an inspirational person in our district. Nothing but far leftist D here.
bttt
anyway, I sent a small contribution from 3000 miles away...
good luck DR.Deb !
Good for you! She must appreciate support from so far away.
