If not for people taking Senator Clinton to task on what many of us consider a bold-faced lie, it would be floating around out there to this day. But now as it's starting to take on a life of it's own, it would appear the Clinton presidential campaign felt it was time for a clarification. So Hillary got someone else to fess up for her...
It is possible in the most recent instance in which she discussed this that she misspoke in regard to the exit from the plane, but there is no question if you look at contemporaneous accounts that she was going to a potential combat zone, that she was on the front lines. – Howard Wolfson, Clinton campaign spokesman
Being a Clinton spokesperson must be a sucky job, considering you spend most of your time answering for yet another situation where one of them "misspoke", or we all just heard what they said wrong.

Howard Wolfson is as full of sh*t as a Christmas Turkey. These clowns should just admit she lied and get on with it. According to them every where on the Planet is a potential combat zone. (Tell that one to our troops)

Taking credit for doing nothing other than showing up in a war zone the Clinton's bled the DoD with?
People- During this war the DoD asked to be funded for the additional incurred costs in expended material and personnel, they were NOT. The DoD had to “take out of hide” money that was intended for normal operating costs and finance a war. Result, funding for other programs was delayed and cut.
