I appreciate your taking the time in viewing this, and briefing us on the contents. Big Media can’t get past their myopic, leftist view of America, and yet they wonder why their print and TV news outlets are fading away. It’s not just the Internet, it’s the warped and fake content.
Thanks for your efforts!
Thanks for the critique.

I counted the two hours of viewing as a volunteer service to Free Republic, certainly NOT a pleasure.
Any talented Freeper could have written the narrative used by Frontline to “cover” the famous 16 words.
Conflate “sought” with “bought” and state that Saddam never “Bought” uranium.
Ignore Wilson’s connection to Plame, and her occupation.
Continue the lie that Great Britain had not said what President Bush had referenced in the SOTU.
Etc...
Piasa, you are a great American. Outstanding posts on this topic.
Filmcutter:
You’ve got to be kidding me. This was an extended tantric orgasm of BDS revisionism, with nary a contrary detail or argument ever intruding upon the Bushitler fantasy version of events. Joe Wilson, Vince Cannistraro, Richard Clarke, Paul Pillar and the commie Ratner all presented without even the slightest hint of of their many lies, their blazing axe-grinding and their infantile stupidity. The counter viewpoint is not merely not presented, its existence is never even hinted at. No interviews with the principals who are relentlessly slandered throughout the broadcast is ever presented. Things which are absolutely false - but which are essential to the BDS narrative - are presented as the revealed word of the Almighty. The part I saw was about as intellectually dishonest as it could possibly be. It is crude propaganda, using every manipulative and deceptive technique at the filmmaker’s command. It is an achievement in that regard, but no other.
Thanks a million for providing the balance that PBS refuses to do. I hope FilmCutter reads your contributions.
I watched as much as I possibly could. I didn’t make it to 75 minutes.
To restate my point about Saddam’s war being over... I heard a sound bite today from a CBS reporter about Hillary’s lie regarding facing “sniper fire” in Bosnia.
The CBS announcer (female, Katie Couric?) said that the war was over but hostilities continued. This exactly describes the present day situation in Iraq.
It is too valuable politically for Democrats to insist that we are losing “Bush’s war in Iraq”. The war is over if the media wants it.
Wrong! It’s Congress’s war: the majority of Congress voted
for it. This is a bad start for something that is supposed
to be factual. (I won’t watch it)
Typical left-wing hit job.
btt
I think the knife slipped and you lost your conservative.....aaaah, ummm....credentials, maybe!?
Keep this link from a former PBS Frontline story in mind when you watch this.
“What kind of training went on, and who was being trained?
Training is majorly on terrorism. They would be trained on assassinations, kidnapping, hijacking of airplanes, hijacking of buses, public buses, hijacking of trains and all other kinds of operations related to terrorism.
So did you find out what kind of training was going on?
I don’t necessarily know what kind of training they do, but they were trained exactly at the same locations, and they were trained by the same teachers who were training ... [the fighters for] Saddam. Training includes hijacking and kidnapping of airplanes, trains, public buses, and planting explosives in cities, sabotaging villages, sabotaging houses, assassinations.
And the training also included how to prepare for suicidal operations. For example, they will train them how to belt themselves around with explosives, and jump in a place and explode themselves out as part of the suicidal training. I think the trainings of the Arabs was much harsher, and much stricter, than the training of the Iraqis.”
