This is the same MENSA candidate that stated that there is NO gun ban in DC...

Because the police can own guns!!

Good article by Jeff Gannon, who has a persistent habit of connecting dots and making sense.

MPD officers are going house to house asking residents to submit to a voluntary search in exchange for "amnesty" from prosecution if a gun is found on the premises.

Illegal as hell.

Not to mention the caviet being that if the gun is linked to a crime then they will prosecute. The only “amnesty” is if it is a legally owned gun they are confiscating.

Thanks for the post with the picture of “TopCop” Lanier - I knew she just had to be a blonde.

Another good article by Jeff Gannon, telling it like it is about the new four-star general of the DC police Department.

Chief Cathy Lanier wasn't satisfied with neutering her police officers during the peace riots last week, now she is sending her troops out, door-to-door, trying to clear DC homes of firearms before the Supreme Court ruling about DC's unconstitutional gun ban comes out this summer.

P.S. I am still waiting for Chief Lanier's return phone call from a message I left on her voicemail last week during the violent attack on the recruiting center. Her voicemail says that the chief will try to return phone calls within 24 hours. It's 120 hours and counting...

Now I know what's kept her so busy. I keep waiting for an announcement from the Chief's office that they are going house-to-house to round up prohibited books... Ann Coulter, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Jeff Gannon, Michelle Malkin, John O'Neill, Scott Swett...

the unConstitutional door-to-door warrantless searches

As long as they *ask* and take "no" for an answer, the searches are not unconstitutional.

But, they do prey on the stupid, with which DC is amply supplied.

I’ll bet she gets a fifth star if she gets all the guns.

We have winner!

Thank you for participating. :)

It is another great article by Jeff.

It drives me nuts that so many folks here will ignore his abilities in favor of jumping on his personal life.

Are you a “lobbyist” for:

Pink Panthers: The LGBT movement declares its right to bear arms in San Jose.

Your snideness aside, no I am not, but I wouldn't turn them down if they approached me. Citizens seeking to protect our Constitutional Rights, particularly the 2nd Amendment, get my support.

Thanks for the link to the article, it has given me an excellent idea. I happen to smoke cigarettes, and the occasional cigar, as does my husband. The lies of the nanny-state propagandists of the anti-smoker cartel and its media cohorts have placed smokers in an even worse situation than the LGBT folks.

The media rarely, if ever, prints stories about the number of smokers that are assaulted because they are forced outside. There are far more of us than there are of them. A 2A smokers group might just get some attention.

Alas there are far too many folks on this site alone, let alone in the general population, that actually look more kindly on the LGBT's than tobacco smokers.

Well, you forgot this part:

“Don’t tell my mom I’m a lobbyist, she thinks I’m a piano player in a whorehouse.”

Okay: forget the “lobbyist” part. How about the “whorehouse” part?

Unbelievable! Well, not really. A FReeper tried to argue that Congress could pass laws under the Tenth Amendment because the powers not delegated to the United States are reserved to the States or to the people. His argument was that Congress was acting as the people.
