A blessed Easter to you, Alas, and to all.
What with Church, family gatherings and a roster of yucky guests, I predict a rather short thread today.
One of my brunch offerings is a pasta with tomatoes, spinach and feta. The pasta is campanelle and looks like little Easter lilies.
Cedric, I am not trying to turn this into a recipe thread.
A traditional Easter pasta, IIRC, in Italy.
I did not know that, Alas.
And here I thought I was so darned clever :)
I left out a tag and my CNN Late Edition didn't post correctly. Here it is:
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Sens. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Evan Bayh, D-Ind.; Iraqi national security adviser Mowaffak al-Rubaie; Gov. Janet Napolitano, D-Ariz.; Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform; Laura Tyson, former economic adviser to President Clinton.
Meet The Depressed should read: Liberal Roundtable.
LOL. Thanks, rodguy.
I think that Ollie North’s special on Iraq is on tonight. I was just looking around for the schedule so I could post it, but I didn’t find it.
I hope some of you saw the video of the Iraqi dog, Nubs, being reunited with his Marine rescuer. Incredibly touching.
Be interested to know about Bill Richardson’s interview. I HATE Chriss Wallace, though. WIll be reading as much as possible becauce had to sneak into the office and finish up some things.
The only person on those lists I’d tune in to see is Eli Manning.
Off topic but for your Sunday morning viewing pleasure, cute video made before the Giants beat the Pats: Eli, put on your Superman Cape

I didn’t get to see the video...is it online anywhere?
This one is the same, two threads below the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread. It includes a much needed BARF Alert.

It does not look like religion will be mentioned on a Sunday "news" show.
Purim is one of the most joyous and fun holidays on the Jewish calendar. It commemorates a time when the Jewish people living in Persia were saved from extermination.
The story of Purim is told in the Biblical book of Esther. The heroes of the story are Esther, a beautiful young Jewish woman living in Persia, and her cousin Mordecai, who raised her as if she were his daughter. Esther was taken to the house of Ahasuerus, King of Persia, to become part of his harem. King Ahasuerus loved Esther more than his other women and made Esther queen, but the king did not know that Esther was a Jew, because Mordecai told her not to reveal her identity.
