Obama’s Mentor Wright -- Not “Typical” Racist (vanity)

Obama’s Mentor Wright -- Not “Typical” Racist (vanity)

Reverend Wright -- Senator Obama’s avowed mentor -- is not your “typical” racist.

He’s an Afro-centric racist!

Think “killer” Africanized bees vs. your everyday “typical” honey bee.

Both can sting, but the Africanized killers bees are far more likely to attack than typical normal bees.

Bees are interesting in that when they sting… they die!

Like the strap-a-bomb-on terrorists that kill others by blowing themselves up!

Apparently, the Africanized bees are far more likely to become martyrs for the colony than normal bees.

Perhaps Africanized bees are more noble than normal bees.

On the other hand, maybe the Afro-bees just have a really bad attitude!

But I digress.

Working under the supervision of The Trinity United Church of Christ, Reverend Jeremiah Wright has been inculcating a virulent theology -- called “black theology” -- to his parishioners for over thirty five years.

Obama admits to being a congregant at Trinity and to have, personally, received spiritual guidance from Reverend Wright for a period of seventeen years.

I think it would be safe to say that much of the guidance and “spiritual” instruction that Reverend Wright imparted to Obama was most likely drawn from the well of black theology.

James cone -- a progenitor of black theology -- writes:

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love."

Now, many have rightly interpreted such statements as racist, but they are much more than that:

THEY ARE STATEMENTS THAT CALL FOR GENICID!

Racism, the idea that one race is superior to another, is common and even excepted in some cultures: Sometimes even by those deemed to be inferior!

In the United States racism is not illegal.

If a Black person considers himself superior to me because I am a white man, he may be a racist, but he has not violated my rights under the law.

If, because I am white, he refuses to rent me a hotel room, he is both a racist and in violation of the law.

However, if he conspires to systematically destroy whites as a racial group, he is then contemplating the most heinous crime ever perpetuated by man -- genocide!

Genocide, according to Merriam Webster dictionary, is “ the deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group.”

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/genocide

Now lets look at some of these statements of ‘black liberation theology’ more closely.

“IF GOD IS NOT FOR US AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE, THEN HE IS A MURDERER, AND WE HAD BETTER KILL HIM .

“BLACK THEOLOGY WILL ACCEPT ONLY THE LOVE OF GOD WHICH PERTICIPATES IN THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WHITE ENEMY”

… “WHICH IS THE POWER OF BLACK PEOPLE TO DESTROY THEIR OPPRESSERS HERE AND NOW BY ANY MEANS (ANY?) AT THEIR DISPOSAL (EMPHASES MINE)

First: God must be on the side of blacks against WHITE people.

Second: We (our black theology) will only accept the love of a god which participates (helps us) in the DESTRUCTION of the WHITE enemy.

Third: Which is the power to of black people to DESTROY their oppressors (WHITE people) by any means at their disposal.

Now lets look at some of the key criterion in the definition of genocide.

“The deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group.”

It is deliberate and systematic, in that a “black theology” has been constructed that both instructs and demands -- by its own definition! -- the destruction of white people, by ANY means!

I am NOT saying that genocide has begun (yet), only that black theology seems to provide not only a “rational” for it: but a call for action … by any means!

Now, I am not a scholar or “expert” on black theology, but do we want anybody even close to the white house -- let alone IN the white house -- that attended Reverend Wright’s sermons at trinity church for seventeen years?

A church that supports a “theology” that petitions God to help kill their fellow countrymen?

What ever happened to the admonition of the Master to love thy neighbor as thyself?

In view of Reverend Wright’s background in ‘black theology’ his outburst after 911 of “G*D D*M America” doesn’t make complete sense.

After all, black people are also Americans… right?

Why would he dam black people?

Trinity Church has claimed that Reverend Wright’s statements were ‘taken out of context.’

I agree!

The “context” they are talking about is black theology!

What the reverend was really saying was “G*D D*M ‘WHITE’ America!”

So what did Obama learn from his pastor over a seventeen year period?

I don’t know about Obama but after my short encounter with his mentor’s black theology, it’s hard for me to get words like “by-ANY-means” and “destruction of the white enemy” out of my head.

Critics could say I’m changing the meaning by taking these words out of context.

Then again, like Thomas Sowell has suggested, we could demand that they please explain exactly what the words would mean when they are taken in context.

http://jewishworldreview.com/cols/sowell031808.php3

“by-ANY-means” … “destruction of the white enemy" …

I think we all know the answer.

“Blacks are more racist than Whites.”

Well, they are — at the very least — as racist as whites.

The problem is blacks are allowed to get away with open racism that a white person could never get away with!

Unlike bees, wasps don't die when they sting, they survive to sting again -- and again...

However, I suppose we can't get away with calling "Rev-Run" Wright a "WASP"... '-)

‘According to James Cones, the preacher behind black liberation theology, “Blacks hate whites, but black hatred is not racism.”

His dialectics don’t fly.

The definition of a word doesn’t change simply because it’s placed in the mouth of a black man.

He is playing a game.

Must have something to do with Ebonics(sarcasm)

I don’t know what black radical teaching Wright preaches, but I heard a caller to Michael Medved spouting some common trash that I’ve heard for over 20 years about how “white people are a science experiment gone wrong” and that black people settled everywhere FIRST. I think Wright differs in this opinion because he said that Jesus was killed by rich white Europeans.

That is supremacist rhetoric. The same as when muslims say that Jews are the offspring of pigs and monkeys. Subhuman. Undeserving of the rights and respects of the “supremacists” who claim the world by divine right.

The crap behind that line that it “isn’t racism” is because they claim that they don’t have the power structure to oppress.

If a black supremacist is elected President, would they have the power structure then?

“This horse is dead already”

I truly hope so!

When dealing with something this egregious one can’t be too vigilant.

So childish.

Nice imagination though.

Hay, I like science fiction!

This horse is NOT “dead already” as some posters claim... and it won’t end until Obama is both defeated as a presidential candidate and removed from the US Senate.

By the way I agree with your post, though for every expression “black theology” I would substitute the more accurate “black liberation theology”.

The idea that anyone can “kill God” cracks me up.

The rest doesn’t.

Thanks, will do.

“Obama is... removed from the US Senate.”

Yes, I was thinking the same thing.

You are right.

Why should someone like him be in the Senate?

“The idea that anyone can ‘kill God’ cracks me up.”

When he says “kill” I think he means that he rejects any god that doesn’t fit his definition.

He seems to think that he can define or “create” God rather than the other way around.

He likes to play with dialectics.

He speaks the “word” and the rabbit jumps out of the hat.

Dialectics in the wrong hands can be very dangerous!

Indeed, words have consequences.
