The guy is obviously a dissident priest, i.e., a heretic. Apparently Cardinal George has had problems with him before, but for some reason has not removed him. I’d guess that if the Cardinal removed all the bad priests in Chicago, there wouldn’t be enough left to man the parishes. He inherited a terrible mess.
