HARRISBURG -- The Rendell administration is scurrying to fix a glitch in an online voter registration form, a flaw that could permit the unauthorized disclosure of some people's driver's license numbers and the last four digits of their Social Security numbers.
Mrs. Amoros said thousands of people have been signing up to vote in recent weeks -- either first-time voters or those who want to switch their registration to Democrat so they can take part in the April 22 political showdown between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
"It's just been incredible, the number of people changing to Democrat," said Mrs. Amoros.
The nine counties that showed the largest percentage increases in Democrats over the past six months were mainly in two areas of the state, the Philadelphia suburbs and the central region of the state, an area known historically for being conservative and having many more Republicans than Democrats.
Statewide, there are now 3,994,605 Democrats, or 111,000 more than last November's total of 3,883,378.

Why would people be doing this when dimocrats support abortion?
Or are they just playing around with Hill/Bill and ‘Bama.
Operation Chaos!
Nope, His liberal policies will thrill the MSM and infect the GOP. Voters will become disillusioned at the larger liberal government as our freedoms become even more eroded and taxes increase dramatically as he "allies" with the democratic party. Moderate GOP candidates will find themselves marginalized in the press and have to follow his example to get traction with the MSM.
No, we in the south know about Yellow Dog democrats and their usefulness. Better to get the worst yellow dog elected so their party becomes a laughingstock rather than ours. And I can think of nothing better than Bill back in the White House with another intern and Hillary trying Hillarycare 2.0 as dogmatically as she tried it in 1.0.
With everything as polarized as it is and without the finesse of Slick Willie, she will grate on the nuanced house and senate liberals as a chalk screeching on a blackboard.
Why not think of our troops?
