Ferraro Offended By Comparison to Pastor Wright

Geraldine Ferraro complained Thursday about Barack Obama lumping her in with his controversial pastor, whom she called a racist bigot.
Obama mentioned Ferraro on Tuesday in his speech on race and his relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whose heated, anti-U.S. sermons raised questions about the company the Democratic presidential candidate keeps.
To equate what I said with what this racist bigot has said from the pulpit is unbelievable, Ferraro told the Los Angeles newspaper, The Daily Breeze, on Wednesday. He gave a very good speech on race relations, but he did not address the fact that this man is up there spewing hatred.
Ferraro, who left Hillary Clintons campaign finance team after saying Obama wouldnt be where he is if he were white, said she had no clue why Obama included her in his speech. She said Obamas relationship with Wright raises questions about his judgment.
What this man is doing is he is spewing that stuff out to young people, and to younger people than Obama, and putting it in their heads that its OK to say God damn America and its OK to beat up on white people, she said. You dont preach that from the pulpit.
The Wright controversy lit up shortly after Ferraro, the 1984 Democratic vice presidential candidate, left her post on the Clinton finance committee following her initial interview with The Daily Breeze on Obamas success.
In his speech, Obama drew a comparison between the two individuals.
We can dismiss Reverend Wright as a crank or a demagogue, just as some have dismissed Geraldine Ferraro, in the aftermath of her recent statements, as harboring some deep-seated racial bias, he said.

Fine Ger.....I find it unbelievable that you said what you did......
Yup, this is the gift that keeps on giving!
“We can dismiss Reverend Wright as a crank or a demagogue, just as some have dismissed Geraldine Ferraro, in the aftermath of her recent statements, as harboring some deep-seated racial bias.”
Man, if I were Wright I be mad too at O.
As for Ferraro, her statements weren’t racist in a hateful way, but ironic given her candidate’s credentials of being a woman and president’s wife.
A lot of sense of superiority on O’s part.
I'm shocked that a Rat like Ferraro could say such a thing.
Ya just gotta love Geraldine. She equates herself being picked from obscurity for the VP slot because she was a woman mind you, with a candidate fighting off the Clinton Mob Machine’s coronation party because he’s black.
Way to go Geraldine. How’s your husband the crook doing? He wouldn’t be indicted if he wasn’t Italian.
Okay, I’m wondering why no one has picked up on this obvious disparity in her attack.
But the CMM is now pleased with the developments of late, so out they trot out the old bat from my old congressional district in Queens.
... There ya go again.
To equate her silly remark ( and his grandmother's incident at that bus stop with that aggressive panhandler ) with Reverend G*d D*mn America's years of vitriolic anti-American, anti-white, antisemitic rants is absolutely ridiculous.
Ferraro said when commenting on what she had said regarding Obama is that previous to her Obama comment she had said that she was Mondale’s choice for VP because she is a woman.
This is delicious.
Someone get Geraldine a bigger microphone!

Now, we KNOW it, don't we!
I never liked Ferraro, until now...
She is taking her toll on the dope.
Could it be the strategy of the “Man from Hope”?
It's a possibility. "Geraldine... we need you to 'take one for the team', one last time..."
This is interesting that The Daily Breeze, not an "LA newspaper" but one which circulates in only some of the southern suburbs (Palos Verdes, Torrance, Gardena) of LA, should get a second huge story from Geraldine Ferraro. It shows that she wasn't really upset that the Breeze covered her first remarks.
So the smalltime Daily Breeze outscooped the mighty Los Angeles Times again.
