Clinton Doesn’t Deny Campaign is Pushing Wright Story to Superdelegates
ABC News ^ | March 20, 2008 | Eloise Harper

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign has strictly maintained a public position not to comment on Sen. Barack Obama's relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Many times, questions have been answered with -- "you will have to ask Senator Obama about that."

However at a Thursday press availability in Terra Haute, Indiana after a report surfaced that the Clinton campaign was pushing the Wright story to superdelegates arguing that the relationship hurt Obama's electibility -– Clinton refused to deny that her campaign was pushing the story.

When asked, Clinton ignored the Wright portion of the question and said “well my campaign has been making the case that I am the most electable that I have said that for a year or more that I am the person best able to make the challenges that our country faces as commander in chief.”

When Clinton was then asked specifically if her campaign was pushing the Wright story –- she shrugged and took the next question, ignoring the reporter.

typical Hillary: Be nice to Obama on the in person while the campaign is sticking a knife in his back.

Don’t look for Hillary or Barry to label the opposition as a Marxist. They have that in common.

I don’t blame her. If it’s going to affect the demos chances, she should be pushing the story. It’s not going away.

I prefer her to that racist obama.

Funny how when I see the name, Clinton, I immediately think of the Great Philanderer.
Only in reading the thing do I remember, Oh yeah... This is Hillary.

According to Rasmussen Reports, Hillary’s approval ratings with Blacks is dropping like a rock. 8 years ago, I would have never imagined the Clintons being hated by Blacks.

Any politician seeking the office of the Presidency would be doing the same thing.

She’s the one playing the race card, not Obama.

Per a couple of polsters on Hannity’s radio program, Obama’s numbers seem to be in freefall.

I have predicted for some time that we’d see a Clinton-Obama ticket. I think this thing is finally getting dirty enough that I don’t have to worry about that. I’ll be glad to be wrong, because I think that ticket could have won.

What?? Obama is NOT playing the race card? How did you reach this conclusion? All available evidence and his own words prove otherwise.

Why shouldn’t she push it?

Obama’s 20+ year spiritual adviser, to whom Obama gave $22,500 in 2006, is a racist lunatic. That’s relevant and disqualifies him from being President.

Go Hillary go.

” I would have never imagined the Clintons being hated by Blacks.”

I wonder about that. Frankly, I am damn tired of affirmative action. In 70, I saw the AA plan start big time in the Army Officer Corp. How damn many more years do we need the affirmative action program?

What is wrong with selecting the best qualified person, regarless of race or gender? Someone tell me?

The difference between McCain and Hillary. Hillary is in it to win. McCain just wants the media to think he is nice.

And, as someone wrote on FR recently, there is dirt stacked up by the barrel on Hillary, waiting to be unleashed.

I understand that you were not being serious, but it is an interesting question. Two weeks ago Hillary's fondest dream would be that she could be the nominee and Obama be her running mate. But now Hillary sees a way that she can be nominee, and although Obama on the ticket would heal her party, Barry's Uncle Jeremiah poses a lot of unwanted political baggage, and if there is anything that Clintons know something about it is unwanted political baggage. The delegate count is very much against her, but those polls are going for her and against Barry and relatives. Barry may be outsider, who was insider, only to find himself on the outside again.

She is hellbent on winning, period. Using the Obaminator as a meal ticket would have been nice, but Obama knows that, and when he didn’t play nice, she sicked the dogs on him. It’s woman scorned syndrome, combined with a raging case of Clinonitis. Baaaaaad combination for any opponent, unless he is more likeable and probably got the nomination locked up. we’ll see.
