I don’t think the fear of black men by white women is “inbred.” Rather it’s just common sense, a rational reaction to the horrific incidence of violent crime committed by black men.

I guess it would be racist of me if I mentioned that she may have a reason for her fear, but I'm gonna say it anyway. The percentage of young Afro-Americans among young men of all races in prison for street type crimes is several times higher for young Afro-American males than for young men of all races even though the A-A population is only 13% of the overall US population. That is no doubt a result of factors such as poverty, living in public housing projects, dropping out of school, absent fathers, etc, and not due to any A-A racial tendency to commit crime.
But whatever the cause, the fact that the Afro-American segment of the population commits a highly disproportionate percentage of all street crimes naturally causes whites to fear and avoid young A-A men on the street or anywhere street type crime is likely to occur. Even Jesse Jackson says he would be more afraid of a group of young A-A men following him on a dark street than a similar group of young whites.
OK, here's the proper place to accuse me of racism and hatred of all Afro-Americans. But the truth is that I'm not a racist and I don't hate anyone of any race, not because I'm such a good person but because Jesus Christ owns me lock, stock, and barrel and he won't allow it.

As a “typical” college teacher, I teach dozens of kids from different countries and backgrounds every day. It never occurs to me to run in “fear” from a subset of any them.
