It seems the more Barack Obama tries to explain the peculiar statement he made Tuesday concerning his white grandmother's "fear of black men who passed by her on the street," the more he's assuring attention regarding the matter.
"The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity...But she is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know . . .inbred...reaction in her that doesn't go away and it comes out in the wrong way."

An additional thought: this is really the only way he could have made the “throw grandma under the bus” strategy worse.

Reminds me a little of Halle Berry. Her white mother raised her after her black father walked out. But it’s to her advantage to identify with the black in her and diss what her white mother provided.
He's never even had to run a serious campaign before. His state elections were all in areas where a Dem couldn't lose even if Jesus, Moses and MLK endorsed the GOP candidate, and in his U.S. Senate run he faced Alan "I'm a great guy but I couldn't win an election for dogcatcher" Keyes instead of Jack Ryan.
He is untested in every sense of the word.
Obamama is one of the few people I have ever seen who can dig a hole with his/her mouth.
If I were the sensitive type, I might consider taking offense at “typical white person”.

Fred and Mort are not offended by Barry’s remark so let’s just move on. Brit asks—but what if someone had said, “typical black person???” Charles, thankfully on the Panel, slams Barry about his need to teach us about racism with his condescending speech and remarks.
One can be racist without believing one race is superior to another if they are paintina another race with a brush they don’t deserve. For example, if a white guy said “The typical Black man would never let a white guy marry his daughter no matter how good a man that potential son-in-law was,” I would consider that racist.
It’s splitting hairs anyway. He believes and is willing to say the typical white is prejudiced, and he wants to lead a country where “typical whites” make up the majority of the population. Whether he’s a promoter of stereotypes or a racist matters little when you come right down to it.
And Obama acts like a damned ungrateful monkey. If he will sell out his own grandma, he will sell out his country.

Charles Krauthammer just hammered Obama on Fox News. Saying essentially he was sitting up in his celestial palace passing judgment on others in his speech and today’s comments about his white Grandmother about race while he sat on his sanctimonious throne as if he was above it all!
I see your point, but read up on Richard Wurmbrand and compare his behavior to Obama’s.
