Barack Obamas journey to the White House should end after his speech yesterday on race. It was a speech that the Senator from Illinois certainly did not want to give, but had to thanks to the unending stream of anti-American, anti-White, and anti-Establishment rants by his former (sic) pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright that were (finally) shown the light of day by the mainstream media. These rants - captured on tape - show the good Reverend from the pulpit bashing just about everyone and everything in mainstream America as his flock cheers the man on.
Including Obama, or so it seems.
While the would-be commander-in-chief should have used his 45-minute speech to thoroughly condemn Wrights statements and state unequivocally his condemnation of said statements, the Senator instead gave us another one of the Lefts us vs. them rhetoricals that will likely divide America and make his candidacy exactly what the Clintons had hoped it would be: a BLACK guy running for president, which even in the year 2008 will probably not play with the majority of America. Or so we should hope. No, there is certainly nothing wrong with a black candidate running for the highest office in the land. However, when that black candidate embodies and yes, embraces a racist message said by one of his surrogates that divides America, that candidate should not be president, or a senator for that matter.
The most significant two lines from the Senators speech says it all: As imperfect as he (Wright) may be, he has been like family to me. And, I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community.
Obama will not disown Wright, which is fine. However, because of that, we should disown Obama. In 2008, we need a president that embraces all of America and that president cannot be Barack Obama.
Rings true with little old me. No wonder he won’t wear an American flag lapel pin. Watch and see if that doesn’t change!!!
So I can hang with skinheads now?
If, Heaven forbid, he should become President, I guess we’ll have an Obamanation.
new tagline bump
If he can't disown Wright, perhaps Obama should tell Wright to change, to "Grow up!"
Obama’s embarrassed about the white parts in him. He would like to just forget about that if he could but he has to put up the pretense that he’s a fair minded, worldly guy that gets along with everyone. Going to that church for 20 years and not saying a peep and/or leaving the church means he’s a coward more worried about what his peers think about him. He’s like the smart black kid in school that starts acting out because it is more accepted by the “cool” kids.
Loyalty is a powerful motive, that is for sure. Too bad that Barack Mohammed (since we are no longer to refer to his given middle name) Obama, Jr., the charismatic, messianic Magic Negro, has chosen to place that loyalty with a virulent, anti-American point of view, and swears allegiance to a different ideology than most of us can stomach, or reconcile our beliefs with.
Bad enough that the views are socialistic, but worse, what the Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Bullfrog, er, Wright was preaching from the pulpit was little different from what we may have been hearing from that Ba’athist (Muslim socialism) Saddam Hussein.
The far more important and threatening aspect of the speech was his attempt to lay out a moral, religious and race-based case for marxism.
Barack likes to "go along, to get along." Not a great quality for a Commander-in-Chief.
If Obama can’t disown him, then Obama owns him.
Obama is a brilliant speaker, but on the other hand, he apparently has political views that make the Dummies and Moveon types look conservative.
Well then, any white person should be able to say, "I can no more disown the KKK than I can disown the white community," and suffer no scorn. Sorry folks. None of this makes sense to me.

Hannity and Rush need to biew this video - this is the O man himself, addressing a meeting of ministers - thinly veiled warning about the Quiet Riots that are simmering under the surface?- like the Quiet Riots that were already simmering before the Rodney King Riots...
He needs to explain that one...
Only if they are like family.
Mr. Obama, do you believe that it is appropriate for a presidential candidate to attend a church that promotes a belief system designed to help the advancement of his or her race over others?
