Now the NVTA has to figure out a way to refund the $8.3 million it has collected from the public in taxes and fees since January, reports The Washington Times. The transportation authority imposed a $10 tax on state vehicle inspections, a 5 percent tax on auto repairs, a 2 percent tax on hotel stays and a 40-cent tax on each $100 of assessed value on home sales.

Yes, Santa Claus, there is a Virginia.
Potomac Fever - it doesn’t just infect the Congress.
NVA and MD have regulation-itis and visiting the area is depressing with the non-stop “do this” “don’t do that” signs.
Nice to see them knocked back for once.
Ok, I got my car inspected in February, how can I get the refund?
