Lawyer withdraws from corruption case after Mike Carona says he can no longer pay him.
Former Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona has lost his longtime criminal defense attorney because he can't afford to pay him.
H. Dean Steward filed a notice with the federal court today to withdraw from the corruption case.

The moral of the story is, if you’re going to be corrupt, steal enough that you can afford your legal defense.
Lawyers get off easy. Their idea of professionalism stops with the buck. I can not imagine a physician stopping care cause someones money ran out. As a matter of fact legally we can not. It is called abandonment.

If he rat people out, that would be fabulous! The corruption in OC is way out of control.
The corruption at *every* level of government is out of control.
Tumbling down range in a ball o flames.
