However while certain members have been playing judge and jury in the court of public opinion, Mayor Kilpatrick has continued to stay focused on advancing bold initiatives such as his economic stimulus package," Tolliver said in a statement.

Sadly, black leadership has ruined more cities than it has helped. Detroit is a prime example. When you have a substandard electorate you get substandard mayors and councilmen. What Detroit needs is an infusion of a million yuppies.
