More than half of voters are less likely to support Barack Obama for president after hearing the anti-American rants of his longtime Chicago pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a shocking poll revealed yesterday.
The Rasmussen Reports survey found that Wright's controversial comments made 56 percent of voters, including 44 percent of Democrats, less inclined to vote for Obama.
Two-thirds of the 1,200 people polled said they knew of Wright's statements, which have been broadcast repeatedly on media outlets over the past several days.
And 73 percent of voters, including 58 percent of black voters, called Wright's comments racially divisive.
In yet another Wright video that emerged yesterday, he is seen denouncing Israel as a "dirty word" and a "racist country" partly responsible for the 9/11 attacks.
"I said that dirty word again. Every time you say 'Israel,' Negroes get awfully quiet," Wright said in a sermon he gave in September 2002.
Other explosive comments that Wright made as pastor of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago include blaming America for 9/11, accusing the government of creating AIDS ...

That IS the point exactly, Eric. It’s one thing to have someone you work with spouting off, or even if he was a recent church member, but Obama has said that his pastor was influential in his life (hmmm) and he allowed this man to baptize his children, etc. I’m with you.
Sit down Obama!.....you’re done!
Nobody can expect to know what their pastor's beliefs are after only 20 years in the benches.
Come on guys, be reasonable!

“Now now, Al Gores friendship with Fred Phelps never hurt HIS campaign. This will blow over too.”
Al Gore wasn’t running against Hillary...
Clinton INC. was all over getting Wright out there. Otherwise we would have known nothing about him. This is “Operation Destroy Obama” in the beginning phases.
I’m listening to him as I write this....Bye bye Obama! You’re done!
He has to play both sides,
because, polls aside (people LIE to pollsters),
the leftist base and AA democrat voters side with the ideas of Wright.
Melodie Morgan comments about Bob Beckels comments in the Fox News Green Room re Wright and Hussein.
Bob Beckel was steamed.
Later, I asked him why he was so upset.
He replied ..."because Obamas people didnt vet him and now Hillarys going to win.
Catch that?
A senior Democrat strategist thinks that Obama has lost the campaign over his association with Reverend Jeremiah Wrights militant separatist language that includes statements like God Damn America. ...."
Just What Did Obama Know About Wright's Past Sermons? (Plenty)
Barack Obama either agreed with what was preached from the Trinity pulpit, or he tuned it out and stayed around pretending to for political reasons. To say he stayed for 20 years but doesn't agree with Wright's preaching is incredible denial. It'd be like a man buying White Sox season tickets for 20 years, attending the games, and saying he's not a fan.
Obamas supporters want us to ignore this story just push it under the rug. While theyll align Republicans with any obscure pastor who does or says something controversial, theyre trying to convince us that Obamas 20-year long close relationship with Wright, including his effective endorsement of him, his church and rhetoric with a $22,500 donation in 2006 is irrelevant.
When Obama decided against wearing an American flag pin, we may all have been a bit too quick to accept his rationale, too quick to find that issue unimportant. Now, that American flag pin has gotten a lot bigger for a lot of us, especially in light of what may have been and may still be Obamas deeper, and, perhaps, secret, less than patriotic beliefs about America.
Wright says that blacks cant be expected to sing God Bless America because of racism. Obama doesnt salute the flag during the National Anthem. That sure strikes me as an amazing coincidence since Obama swears he never heard Wright say anything against America.
This is painful!.....
In a way this will blow over. In the way that the press will decide that it doesn’t exist anymore and most people will forget it.
Most, but not all. Enough of the fence-sitters will remember this long enough to make at LEAST a few percentage point difference (maybe 2, maybe 3, something like that), in Obama’s total popular vote in November, if he’s the nominee.
That’s what I believe.
I also believe that there is nothing he can do to change the fact that he’s lost some people over this. The damage is done. Twenty years is too long. What can he say? He wasn’t in church that day? Right. I know. He’s already saying it.
But like I said. It’s going to stick in enough minds to matter.
And it will be cumulative. I’m sure there’s a whole bunch more leftist-anti-american revelation coming down the pike. And it’s all going to add up.
Michelle isn’t going to be proud of America in the end. She’s going to repeat her church lessons and scream: “GD America!”
I don’t recall running across any info on Obama’s views on slavery reparations. I can guess, but I’d rather hear it from the horse’s mouth. Or possibly from the other end of the horse.
Notice her ear ring
.
that would make a great tag
Is this an authentic piciture? If so, we need to send it to Rush, FoxNews Channel and other media outlets!
Yup! Sure did!
“Next we go to Henry Morgan.”
