Obama to deliver “major speech” on race tomorrow
Hot Air ^ | March 17, 2008 | Allahpundit

Think it’ll have anything to do with the forces of division starting to raise their ugly heads?

Barack Obama will give a major speech on “the larger issue of race in this campaign,” he told reporters in Monaca, PA just now.

He was pressed there, as he has been at recent appearances, on statements by his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright.

“I am going to be talking about not just Reverend Wright, but the larger issue of race in this campaign,” he said.

He added that he would “talk about how some of these issues are perceived from within the black church issue for example,” he said.

Maybe “the government lied about Pearl Harbor” is all a big cultural misunderstanding? Expect lots of redemption rhetoric about the Messiah rising like a phoenix from the ashes of the black nationalist movement he patronized for 20 years and how it’s objectively anti-progress to hold that inconvenient fact against him. Exit question: It’s good news, at least, that the congregation apparently no longer regards “Middleclassness” as some sort of vestige of slavery, isn’t it?

So far in this campaign, I’d agree with the previous poster (SF Mom), Obama has been masterful in his ability to have a boomerang like effect in terms of all criticism.

The issues with his pastor are different. Obama has made WORDS an important part of his campaign—and Rev. Wright’s words were divisive, degrading and disgusting. Barack has been the candidate of love; but his pastor preaches hate.

I don’t understand how he backs away from this one successfully, but I guarantee he’ll try.

And the main-stream, liberal-left media will buy into it
100 percent. Whatever he says will, in their opinion,
be healing and unifying.

Obama will make us look like the racists for daring to pont out the fact that Jerimiah Wright is a flaming, hateful racist.

This speech ought to be a spin doozy!

The unification will happen when all of us white apologizers give Barack and Jerimiah a free pass for being racists. Well....you know, they have a “wright” to say what they do. Its only because of the sins of folks from 200 years ago. /s

He will hint that the ONLY reason we are now paying attention to Jeremiah Wright is because we are a bunch of racists.

So why are we paying attention to the Wrights and Hagees who are not running?

Do candidates now need to hire Exorcists to purge all the evil out of their supporters?

LOL, good grief, Hagees is an MSM invention.

Hussein is anti-American, as is his Democrat Party and men like Wright who agitate for the commie vampire Dims.

If anyone is considering going to the speech please be careful.

Take along a can of black or brown shoe polish just in case a race riot breaks out between the Latinos and Black Africans calling themselves Americans.

From the Black Value System

Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”

Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must keep the captive ignorant educationally, but trained sufficiently well to serve the system. Also, the captors must be able to identify the “talented tenth” of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor’s control.

Those so identified as separated from the rest of the people by:

Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.

Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons. Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of “we” and “they” instead of “us”.

So, while it is permissible to chase “middle-incomeness” with all our might, we must avoid the third separation method-the psychological entrapment of Black “middleclassness”: If we avoid the snare, we will also diminish our “voluntary” contributions to methods A and B. And more importantly, Black people no longer will be deprived of their birthright, the leadership, resourcefulness, and example of their own talented persons.

Apparently there are millions who disagree with your personal opinion. I grew up at Laguna Seca. I would rather watch NASCAR than Formula 1 any day.

Hagee is a supporter, but Wright is a mentor who has had a close relationship with Obama for 20 years, including performing the marriage ceremony and baptizing his children.

As long as the MSM and others continue to focus on personalities like pastor Wright and speculate whether Obama was at a particular sermon or not, the better it is for Obama who can distance himself from Wright and claim he wasn’t present at some of the sermons. The focus should be on the church itself and Obama’s 20 year association with it. We are missing the forest for the trees.

IT'S OVER FOR OBAMA.

HE ALLOWED THE SUBJECT TO BE CHANGED TO RACE, AND THAT'S A MAJOR STRATEGIC MISTAKE THAT HE CANNOT UNDO.
