Clarification: The Obama campaign has told members of the press that Senator Obama was not in church on the day cited, July 22, because he had a speech he gave in Miami at 1:30 PM. Our writer, Jim Davis, says he attended several services at Senator Obama's church during the month of July, including July 22. The church holds services three times every Sunday at 7:30 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central time. While both the early morning and evening service allowed Sen. Obama to attend the service and still give a speech in Miami, Mr. Davis stands by his story that during one of the services he attended during the month of July, Senator Obama was present and sat through the sermon given by Rev. Wright as described in the story. Mr. Davis said Secret Service were also present in the church during Senator Obama's attendance. Mr. Davis' story was first published on Newsmax on August 9, 2007. Shortly before publication, Mr. Davis contacted the press office of Sen. Obama several times for comment about the Senator's attendance and Rev. Wright's comments during his sermon. The Senator's office declined to comment.

Obama brings his children to this church.
All the folks in the church were wildly cheering as the so-called rev. Wright was making his racist comments. Obama wants his children to be around racists.
Also, the new rev. Otis was patting Wright on the back and cheering him on while he was making racist comments. Obama should drop out of that church to show that he doesn’t support such behavior.

Obama attended the Hate America Sermon of bigot Wright on July 22nd 2007 he cannot deny it because FOIA will show that his SS detachment was there.... Better his campaign come forward with this now...
Oh I guess he will just say he was abosorbed by the Holy Spirit and didn’t really hear what Wright was preaching or some such nonsense but this story has got legs and its gonna sting him somehow as it should.
If Obama is nieve enough to not know what his Preacher for 20 years was really all about then does he really have the judgement to be POTUS? I don’t thnink so and neither will millions of Americans...

Even with an all volunteer force, it’s still today a requirement of men to register with selective service.
I think it will seriously reduce black turnout. Those that do vote will still vote Dem, but they won’t come out in usual numbers. The question is whether the depressed black turnout will exceed the depressed conservative turnout.
