Clarification: The Obama campaign has told members of the press that Senator Obama was not in church on the day cited, July 22, because he had a speech he gave in Miami at 1:30 PM. Our writer, Jim Davis, says he attended several services at Senator Obama's church during the month of July, including July 22. The church holds services three times every Sunday at 7:30 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central time. While both the early morning and evening service allowed Sen. Obama to attend the service and still give a speech in Miami, Mr. Davis stands by his story that during one of the services he attended during the month of July, Senator Obama was present and sat through the sermon given by Rev. Wright as described in the story. Mr. Davis said Secret Service were also present in the church during Senator Obama's attendance. Mr. Davis' story was first published on Newsmax on August 9, 2007. Shortly before publication, Mr. Davis contacted the press office of Sen. Obama several times for comment about the Senator's attendance and Rev. Wright's comments during his sermon. The Senator's office declined to comment.

No, they shouldn’t. Secret Service is charged first and foremost with protection. If they could be subpeonaed or forced to testify, politicians are going to have to distance themselves from their agents to prevent them from hearing/seeing anything.
Looks like Mr. Clean has got some explaining to do! Is this the kind of “change” he wants to bring to America? All he has succeeded in doing is angering white America with his outrageous preacher, and his involvement with his church.

Bingo! And the interesting thing is that all Muslims are charged with advancing the cause of Islam....and they have permission to lie, particularly to infidels, to do that in the Quran and the Hadiths. So when dealing with a Muslim, we never know do we?
There is another interesting potential link pertaining to the picture of Obama during the playing of the National Anthem. Here is a quote from a post I made several days ago....

There are lots of dots to connect in Obama's past. Some are clear, such as his close relationship with Jeremiah Wright; some are fuzzy such as his relationship to the Muslim world.
Connecting them correctly is as least as important as connecting the dots prior to 911 would have been.
Whether or not Obama was present for a specific sermon is beside the point. He knew Wright hated America and despised white people. He knew the entire congregation hated America and despised white people. He made a deliberate decision to participate in the hate-filled celebrations masquerading as church services. Things that he and his angry wife have written and said confirm that they internalized the sentiments of Wright and his bigoted parishoners. No loyal American could possibly support this guy.
I’m rare to say this but Rev. Wright’s church deserves to have their tax excempt status revoked.

Get real its a FOIA... I could argue the same thing that the Liberals have been pulling on the Bush Admin by asking for FOIA they are putting the country in danger...
There I just shut down freedom of speech... FOIA is specifically for this type of purpose... Candidate is lying about where he was and he has an entourage paid for by my tax dollars then they are accountable for where they were... sorry you argument doesn’t hold water...

Further you post implys that politicians would be distancing themselves from their entourage to commit illegal acts because as far as I’m concerned all politicians work for the people and if they are up to no good I want to know about it. If they have nothing to hide then they shouldn’t care if we ask for FOIA about their entourage.

Click his moniker for his in forum post. He’s been trying to clear/spin this for a while ........ My guess is this recent assertion from Newsmax is his work also.
I am just wondering: If this fellow was there, on July 22, 2007 for the purpose of uncovering information about Obama’s church...why didn’t he have a camera, or a tape recorder, or something to verify what he saw and heard? Without some verification, it is just his word against Obama’s. If he does not have concrete proof of Obama actually being there this fellow’s story will not survive.
