This church is not a government agency and you cannot get them through FOIA. ABC News and Fox News got a little bit lucky in getting the church to sell them the DVD's because the church and more importantly the Obama campaign did not realize that such damaging material could so readily be accessed by the press through commercial channels. What ever damaging video there might be will not be readily accessible anymore, the church and Obama will see to that. The only hope of such video reaching the public now, would be someone within the church turning over something for LOTS of money, and the payer would have be someone like TMZ because the "news" channels would not pay enough. Another thought might be if Obama gets the nomination a "Swift boat" type group might be able to come up with enough money to uncover something. Obama can be sold out by his own but it will take a lot of bucks.

I hope the MSM keeps trying to defend and spin this story. As we all know the MSM/Hollywierd/"academia" and the rest of the usual suspects live in that echo chamber know as the "reality-based community". There everyone thinks and feels the same way idjits like this "pastor" does so they see nothing wrong in anything he has said. That is why they are shocked by the reaction to it. As with all the members of the "reality-based community" they think that if they just "educate us members of the great unwashed out here in Jesusland" as to the nuances being espoused then we will grasp the "fact" that "Wright is right" and embrace Obama as the new messiah. Unfortunately for them we are not as stupid as they think we are. Not only that but we have a highly developed sense of smell and Obama reeks like a week old dead fish to me. Even before he started reeking you could tell he was "diseased" by the endorsements he has gotten-SEIU, Black Panthers, etc.. Those alone told me exactly where his true beliefs lie despite all the chagalicioushopiness rhetoric-Obama is a racist, a Marxist, an anti American and a active supporter of Islamofascism who would make Jimmah Carter look like a flag waving patriot and *GASP!* Best. President. Evah. Many people do not have access to the assets we have so had a hard time finding out what a steaming pile of shite Obama is. Now all can see who and what he really is thanks to the "reeducation process" being carried out by the MSM, and that is being reflected in the poll numbers. And I guarantee you this is just the tip of the iceberg-just wait until the Rezko and Kenyan Islamofascist connections come out. A couple of side notes..... Anyone else noticed that the always vocal "Rev.'s" Jessie and Al have not uttered a peep about this yet? The simple fact that they haven't said anything speaks volumes. We also have not heard a peep out of Teddy and Caroline Kennedy or Oprah. They have quietly faded off into the distance. I think they know they have screwed the pooch by pushing Obama. Especially Oprah whose ratings have dropped significantly on her talk show and will probably fall even further in May sweeps. As far as the Kennedys go they have a fine tuend political survival instinct and are politically savvy enough to know when to back away from a bad situation unlike Botox Nancy. Botox Nancy is still trying to ram Obama through by making statements about how the superdelegates should vote. This indicates to me just how clueless the Democratic party leadership is. They are going to party at the convention like it is 1864.

I’m no Christian but there’s another issue with those that try to spin this as a “jeremiad” in the tradition of Jeremiah the prophet of Israel who warned her against her coming destruction as punishment.

Jeremiah warned HIS PEOPLE about their wickedness, as far as I recall. When Reverend Wright goes off on his diatribes against Israel and America, who is he talking to? He’s certainly not reaching out to ‘white America’ to try to improve them is he? He’s talking to blacks, telling them that they have been and continue to be victims at the hands of white racism. This is basically the opposite of Jeremiah.

It’s more like a prophet coming to some group of people and telling them, “hey, you guys keep on doing what you’re doing, nothing wrong with you guys at all. It’s all THEIR FAULT!”

It’s racial eschatology of a type no different, really, than anything Hitler did when he adopted and refined Nazi-Aryan ideology. The only reason it’s tolerated is because somewhere in the 60s, the Left decided it would tell everyone else that the oppressed had an infinite right to offend or say whatever they felt like saying, so long as it was antagonistic towards capitalism, Western representative democracy and English liberty.
