Welcome to the Canteen, Eoin O'Neill. Sorry that winter won't let you go. It is 40F in Anchorage right now. And thanks, mcshot, for your service to our country.

Some books (mostly fiction) of Irish interests that I have read in days gone by..

The first on the list was finished by myself just a little while before my Drill Sargent ordered me to toss all non religious books into his circular file. I put some hyper links to the Amazon reviews of the ones below.

Trinity

Redemption

1916

The Lion of Ireland

Pride of Lions

How the Irish saved civilization

I've read a bit more, but the above are the more popular ones that come to mind.

My dad, who left this earth about 30 years ago and far too early at 57, was born on St. Patrick's Day. John Patrick Cogan. I still miss you, dad.

Unfortunately, a few years ago, Josh was no longer my son in law. I still love him like a son, however. I had not known it until a few days ago. He was on the Nimitz when the incident happened with the Russian bombers.
