Time for Rep King to go
Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier ^ | 3/16/08 | Ben Soriano

Sunday, March 16, 2008 6:18 AM CDT Time for Rep. King to go BEN SORIANO

CEDAR FALLS --- U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, is an embarrassment to our country, and his remarks on Obama are a reflection of a fear-mongering politician who should not be allowed through re-election to shame the values upon which our country was founded.

Maybe those of us interested in turning away from divisive politics should start an online donation drive to oppose his re-election. These days, small donors are having a huge impact on election races. It wouldn't take much to ensure that he no longer represents our country with his racist views and small-mindedness.

That's what I love about our country. You are elected to represent your constituents, and your constituents can replace you when they see that you are no longer keeping their interests and values in mind.

I ask all good citizens of Cedar Falls to see what we can do to ensure his defeat.

Dear Ben:

Redirect your renal output in a generally vertical trajectory in close proximity to a significant length of woven hemp.

Regards,

me.

Screw that rag, the people that run it, and Obama.

May as well toss Hillary & McCain in with that pile of excrement also.

I take it that Ben is an ardent Obama fan. He needs a long walk off a short pier.

Ah, the lame stream media.

Typical left-wing, Obama-shill.

Anything to take the focus on B.O.'s problems.

Cannot say anything (much less criticize) about the "Religion of the Perpetually Outraged and Offended."

He must hate Obama then, right?

his remarks on Obama are a reflection of a fear-mongering -

Pretty shoddy piece of muck-mongering.

The reason the writer doesn't bother to include the remarks are, no doubt, because they are true and the writer doesn't want the reader to be reminded of it.

So just brand the person a fear-mongerer - totally following the stated tactics in the Communist Party Handbook.

Shut up the opposition with slander...

A pretty stupid thing for King to say. Wonder what his FR screen name is...?

“his remarks on Obama are a reflection of a fear-mongering”

Husein is a marxist - and as they killed 100 million in the last century, I would think that is plenty to fear.

""The radical Islamists, the al Qaeda ... would be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on Sept. 11 because they would declare victory in this war on terror"

I guess telling the truth is "racist".

I’m not sure what King said. Did he say Obama is a socialist? Did he say Obama’s wife hates the US as does his pastor? Did he say Obama’s ideas about policy are a catastrophe for the US? How about Obama supports murder of the partially born? Are these things racist? What did he say?
