Note to young women: she didn't do it by selling her body to strange men.

Unlike many adults, Ashley has not succumbed to the temptations that new wealth can bring. She pays herself a modest salary of $3,000 a month. Self-discipline like this will ensure her success in whatever she does.

Nice that the Big Government Marxists haven’t yet managed entirely to kill off the Horatio Alger spirit.

Wonderful story. My advice to Ashlely — put some of that money in the bank. No business lasts forever.

This could be an inspiring story to pass along to comparably-aged students. As a bonus, she seems like a level-headed young lady. The only thing I’d love to see her change is to get a private tutor and complete her education.

Seriously, is there any other country where stories like this happen regularly? Where can a 14 year old girl biuld a million dollar a year business in 3 years while keeping her clothes on?
Remind me why I need “change” so much. I would love to hear her interviewed about taxes and her thoughts on the equity of taking more as she makes more. Kids don’t have to think about that much.

I love stories like this. I had a friend whose daughter stayed at home to raise her six year old son. Her husband was away on a trip when he was car-jacked, shot in the face and killed. All she had was a small life insurance policy. She started several Internet businesses, none of which succeeded. Then she created a work-from-home business and a clever marketing plan and off it went. For the past five years she's pulling in almost $2 million/year. Her son's college is already paid for via a trust fund and she has barely changed her own style of living. She is building a home on the Jersey shore, but she's paying cash for it. I love seeing what's she's done for herself.
