Carter leading to Reagan was a different time. Nothing will be the same after Hillary. She will do whatever is necessary to personally destroy her opposition.

Well whatever Obama is, he’s denounced his pastor...

Barack Obama on Friday, in a written statement and then in an interview with FOX News, issued his firmest denunciation to date of his longtime Chicago pastor and described the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr.’s anti-U.S. remarks as “inflammatory and appalling.”

“None of these statements were ones I had heard myself personally in the pews,” Obama told FOX News. “Once I saw them I had to be very clear about the fact that these are not statements that I am comfortable with. I reject them completely they are not ones that reflect my values or my ideals.”

He said the sermons now sparking controversy didn’t resemble the sermons he remembers from Wright, which, Obama said, stuck to messages of faith, values and helping people in the community.

Obama issued his more forceful statement against the sermons Friday afternoon.

“Let me say at the outset that I vehemently disagree and strongly condemn the statements that have been the subject of this controversy,” he said in the statement. “I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies. I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it’s on the campaign stump or in the pulpit. In sum, I reject outright the statements by Rev. Wright that are at issue.”

Obama told FOX News he wouldn’t have quit Wright’s congregation if the pastor’s more controversial statements were isolated, but if that became “the tenor or tone on an ongoing basis of his sermons” Obama said he would have quit.

“Obviously they are ones that are from my perspective completely unacceptable and inexcusable,” Obama said.

If a Dem gets in, it will be 4 non-stop years of “the American people voted for change” and the Republicans in Congress will cave to every socialist program they run down the pike.

At least if McCain gets in, we have a chance of stopping Congressional attempts (ala amnesty of Harriet Miers) with public outcry.

McCain has shown that he can be forced to change his position.

With Hillary or Barack, the media and the Congress will ram socialism down our throats.

I can't support that, even if it means (shudder) voting for McCrazy.

If this problem for Obama has any legs, Hillary will kick his butt in Pennsylvania. She will have, in many people’s minds, some traction with the super delegates. She needs to be as weak as possible going into the convention.

I’m guessing you disagree with my notion that Hill’s presidency will be so bad that the ship of state will be righted?

Cause you gotta know I don’t like Hill and I’d agree spot on she’s the daughter of Satan. For now I don’t think Obama’s going anywhere so I can’t argue about his presidency because my premise is that there will be no such thing.

About that FCC thing, you could be right. She could, with the help of her congress traitor friends, shut down talk radio.

But you know what, such an act would anger so many of the American public and hey, we could all BUT Sirius or something.

This ain’t the seventies any more.

Brian Ross exposed it on the old media on ABC yesterday and so it goes from there.

To watch Anderson Cooper parse it with his liberal panel was hilarious...I would love to see Coopie react to the gay stuff from the RevRun.

You read my mind! I was just thinking about doing that and wala...done. That was like when you are about to open a door and someone on the other side does it before you and you go jokingly, “That was easy.”

Liar. And I bet the Hildabeast has the tapes to prove it.

CNN is rerunning Anderson Cooper’s interview with Obama.

Obama is saying he never heard those sermons/words in church.

[Did Obama sleep during the sermons for 20 years?]

Obama is dancing all around. Even Cooper in finding Obama’s responses evasive and questionable.

Obama does have a smirk on his face. [That isn’t going to go over well either.] Obama actually defends the minister.

Obama is trying to spin this, but he giving rambling and stammering non-sensical responses.

Isn’t it interesting that even El Rushbo won’t say plainly that a man like Obama having been steeped in this racist hate mongering toward America is a product of this programming yet he is hiding it so well. His wife isn’t able to hide her contempt and hatred for America, but her politician husband is a master at hiding it. THAT scares the bejeebers out of me because his charisma comes from somewhere and it smells of sulfur, just like the sinkEmperor’s charisma came from the same source and so many American voters couldn’t and still can’t see it! Obama and his wife have been educated to be racists/haters/extreme leftists and only the wife is unable to hide it until it is too late.

yep....one thing about Cankles is she probably would fight a war if made really mad.

Obama would probably let them in and give them the keys

and set up the camps for us to be reeducated in

Keith is just as bad as Wright. CNN thought that McCain should apologize. Oh, Obama made nice but as Tony Blankley said, it strains immagination that Barak never ,never, knew that the sermons contained inflammatory anti-American, anti-white , Liberation theology that dissed any other Christian interpretations of Matthew! In 20 plus year, Obama just never knew that those sermons sounded like some left wing university prof who also hates the USA. He needs more
‘splaining.

"Obama is trying to spin this, but he giving rambling and stammering non-sensical responses."

Not only that but his "I never knew" defense won't hold up over the weekend. He only guarantee this story will have "legs" for months to come.

It doesn’t matter how angry people would be with Hillary. What, is someone going to impeach her? People in DC are afraid of her. They all know her willingness to destroy them personally and ruin their lives. As bad as McCain is on immigration, a Hillary presidency would have 10 million new voters for her next term. She would do whatever she wanted to do with executive orders. Remember the Begala quote after a Clinton exec order —— Stroke of the pen, law of the land...cool.

They don’t view us as the loyal opposition. She will do anything and everything to destroy the Republican Party.

I want to run against Obama. He is an empty suit and cannot sustain his Revival Tent Roadshow until November. Hillary has to be stopped.

BO’s so-called church is a mirror image of the White Aryan Nations “Christian Identity Church.”

Putting Christian in a name don’t make it so, if the goal is spewing racist hatred.

Ignorance is bliss as they say.

Hey...what about that Oprah likes this guy too.

Geezus, I thought wealth was supposed to make blacks feel more included.

I even heard black Rushbo supporters today trying to parse for this guy.

I can’t believe any black fellow freepers would support this vitriol (?)

“Everytime that “G*dDa*n America” speech plays it costs Obama at least 100000 votes.”

As it should.
