Wright laced into America's establishment, blaming the "white arrogance" of America's Caucasian majority for the woes of the world, especially the oppression suffered by blacks. To underscore the point he refers to the country as the "United States of White America." Many in the congregation, including Obama, nodded in apparent agreement as these statements were made.

This is something relatively new in America

It may be that it makes little difference...

The Democrats and the liberals often do things that they accuse the Republicans of...

but when they do it it is covered up or regarded as virtue, and the Republicans are accused of slander...

This has been a difficult year for American politics and will continue to be so...

but I have a feeling that Obama will come out on top in this instance...

The long term mud from racism and/or religious bigotry will stick to the Republicans and not to the Democrats...

Bill Clinton is an accomplished campaigner...

he will see the writing on the wall and try patch up the holes...

he wants Hillary to win the nomination but not at the expense of the Democrat Party cohesion...

If Hillary got the nomination due to racism accusations against Obama, the base around Obama will not forgive her...

I think Bill Clinton is smart enough to avoid dividing the Democrats over race...

After all it’s the Republicans and the Great Right Wing Conspiracy that are the racists...and the Clintons and their ilk do well in painting us as evil...

To have that same light turned onto Hillary Clinton, with all its ugliness, would give the nomination to Obama by default...

It will be interesting to watch what the Clintons do and say in the next few days...

Hillary has to separate herself from Obama without appearing to be racist, and race is in the forefront right now...

The best thing for the Republicans to do is just sit this out and and stay silent..leave the Democrats duke it out...they may destroy themselves over this..

It the Republicans can gag Mccain and not let him comment on the subject..after all it is their problem...let they keep it..

If Mccain or one of the GOP leaders cause attention to divert to the Republicans, the Democrats will join together and gang up on us and suddenly it will all be our fault...

If this is allowed to play out with just the Democrats as the participants, their Party structure could be weaken to the point it may not recover by Nov...and then there’s the war called the Democrat Convention, in August...

You know that’s bull. That’s to keep the church members dependent on the gov’t and not to think for themselves, that’s not gospel. Now if he were talking about their responsibilies, pouring Christ in whatever work you do, marriage, caring about and doing the best for you and your family, clean up your neighborhoods, talk to your children and stay on their backs everyday with the morals you raise them with. That’s gospel. Not blaming someone else because you don’t get off your butt, expecting a handout or upset because your dad wasn’t around, you benefit from affirmative action instead of doing it the straight way, feeling guilty because you make something of your life yet don’t know who the heck you are.
