Still hasn't been corrected. I think the AFP is trying to pass this off as "R" meaning (on the right) in the photo. But it is misleading. Like someone would mistakenly think the woman was named Eliot?

Well he’s not a House member like Gary Condit, so they can’t put (Rep) next to his name. Give AFP a break, they don’t have much to work with here!

Or that the person on the right is the wife?
To: jdm
There's nothing inaccurate about this.
The (R) means Retard.

Well, isn’t this special?
The only time the press even mentions his party.... they get it wrong.
No wonder they are called presstitues.

This character on
Scrubs is named Elliot:
And she's quite easy on the eyes too...

so dodgy. i am convinced it was to misrepresent him as a republican. it could serve no other purpose

Beat me to it.
An AFP classic.

Your Little Green Footballs link does not work. Can you give the correct one?

Some AP dweeb trying to be cute. Don’t they have bosses? Oh yeah, the bosses just winked and nodded, for they have an agenda to be maintained.

None of the links seem to work for me. What is AFP? (Sorry if that’s a dumb question.)

The style-book probably calls for a lower case “r”, not the upper case.

The (R) means "right."
Without it, the French wouldn't be able to tell which one is Eliot and which one is the wife.

Everyone knows the Gov.
Seems like his wife’s name (L) is the more appropropriate designation Are we really that likely to confuse the two.? really?

I’ll bet the “style book” calls for “right” to be spelled out — if it’s needed at all (it isn’t needed here).

Well seems we should find out wich AP dude is being too cute squared. Maybe this will become a “wailing woman” or “green uniform guy” reuters-type “cute” moment.
